I've been working with Alan since June to repair the hinges and thermostat on my Viking range. Initially he was very responsive. We paid for new hinges and a thermostat and eventually arranged a time for Alan to come to Boston to repair. He repaired the hinges no problem; the thermostat was wrong part though. that was just before July 4, 2012. I haven't heard from him since despite SEVERAL calls nor have I received a credit for the incorrect part. I tried calling today (9/5/12) for the last time to resolve this but no answer. Its unfortunate, because until this point, i would have recommended him without reservation.

My number 1 priority is honesty. Mr. Niskala examined Washer, researched repair parts and cost estimate and advised that appliance was not worth the cost of repair. He also suggested a replacement product with pros/cons of top loader vs. front loader benefits. I highly reccommend Appliance Solutions for prompt, courteous, and honest service.

Called right away. Was able to come out that day. Did the job in a good professional manner. Was easy to work with and actually helped fix a small sag in the counter where the dishwasher he was installing was. Price was in line with what I expected to pay and with what others had told me. Would use him again without any hesitation.

Didn't turn out to be a simple washing machine fix-we needed a new washer, immediately and just before the holiday weekend. Alan found a place that would deliver the next day, checked out their stock and gave us the contact name. he got the old one out and new one in the next day.

Just felt like a complete waste of money. We knew what the problem was with our washer and it took the whole hour to diagnose what we know and then waited for a part that still didn't solve the problem. I guess with a washer once something is broken just buy a new one don't waste any time fixing it.

Today, (6/4/11) I had the most pleasant home repair visit from Mr. Alan Niskala and his son. Our Kenmore washing machine (purchased:2004 & out of warranty) would not run because of a faulty switch. Mr. Niskala quickly diagnosed the problem. Replacing the switch was difficult. However, he unraveled what appeared to be an unnecessary complexity on the part of Sear's engineers, replaced the switch, re-assembled the unit and left us smiling. Mr. Niskala and his son were friendly, neat in appearance, 100% professional, organized in their approach to our problem and competant. I would not hesitate to call him in the future and would recommend him to my neighbors.Thank you for your service.

Came in, immediately ID the problem and was able to fix it with a part he had on the truck. (Made a special adaptor on site) Quick and neat-and best of all-it worked!!

Alan responded quickly to my request and able to fully discuss the project over the phone and set a price for the work I needed done. He was considerate of my time, calling to let me know he was running late from his previous job. Work was done quickly and professionally. Alan is friendly and worked with me to ensure that project was completed to my satisfaction. He cleaned up after himself (always a plus). I would strongly recommend this company for handyman work that someone needs completed.

It was incredible!! Our tenant called because the washing machine was leaking. After going on line and putting in the information I received a phone call within five minutes and within an hour there was a repairman at our condo fixing the problem!!! Absolutely amazing!!
