Appliances USA Pro

Hired Appliance USA Pro in June 2025 to replace the compressor on my LG refrigerator. They charged $906.40. Major issues: 1. They charged me for a compressor that was covered under LG's 10-year manufacturer warranty. The part was free. They did not disclose this and charged me for it. 2. The repair failed within months. An LG-authorized technician later confirmed they used the wrong brazing material (Sil-Fos instead of silver solder on a copper-to-steel joint), which caused a refrigerant leak. 3. When I asked for the warranty documentation and service records, their technician refused to provide them. 4. I sent two formal demand letters via certified mail. Both were ignored. I only got a response after filing a BBB complaint. 5. We settled through the BBB for a $906.40 refund. Three weeks later, $101.97 is still unpaid. I would not recommend this company. Folks scheduling were friendly, prompt and thorough. The men who came out to do the job made sure they understood exactly what needed to be done and were efficient and capable. The scheduling and communication on the day of weren’t great, I had to ping for updates and moved to late in the day, but it sounded like a mixup, not an intentional error. Also not this company requires you prepay before scheduling. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to be aware of.

I got an appt the next day for my broken dishwasher. Diagnosed the problem quickly and installed new part pronto. Works like new.

The tech from appliances USA pro was able to diagnose the issue as a burnt out capacitor and relay switch... However they quoted me a ridiculously high $422 to just replace the relay switch and capacitor... Which costs about $20 on Amazon. The part is a plug that simply attached to the compressor... I was able to able that and install it in less than 10 minutes.. This company does a bait and switch and is not a an ethical company to hire for repairing appliances.. don't recommend using them for repairs .

The fridge is finally fixed completely, and all is well. I did find it a bit odd that when he finished the job, Omar left without saying a word. Alexander handled most of it, and he was great.

I called this company yesterday and they came today and repaired my refrigerator in record time. Rafael's work was great. Congratulations! We need people like this in our country.

requested referrals from Angie list Saturday morning when I woke to find that my refrigerator was no longer freezing or cooling. Within an hour this company contacted me and within another hour a repairman was working on my unit. The repairs were completed within about two hours. The price was more than reasonable for the amount of work that had to be done. Gabriel, the young repairman, was very thoughtful friendly and concerned for my welfare as I am an elderly cancer patient on a walker. Because I was unable to prepare the unit and its surroundings before his arrival, he had to work hard before he could begin his repairs. Without complaint he did what was necessary to gain access to the unit and efficiently repair it. I highly recommend this company and will use it the next time an appliance tries to commit appliancecide.

Really Appreciate them. They don't charge extra for weekends, holidays or late night visits. They have technicians that work after 4:30 p.m. so you don't have to take a day off and lose a day's pay to give them money, which is great. Appliance Repair USA tries to do the same day service and repair. Technician is so friendly and works on Appliances repair Usa

They are prompt, personable, & reasonable. They were able to repair the vent connection on my clothes dryer & clean the vent within a half hour. I was truly impressed, & I highly recommend them for appliance repair.
