I paid $35,00 as a down payment to ACS for a home remodel on 01/18/2018. I picked materials 02/2018 and met with the project manager 04/2018. Work started 06/2018 and I was told I would receive a timeline for the project. I did not receive the written timeline but was told the project should take 2-3 months. After 4 months very little work had been completed with no communication as to when workers would arrive at my home. 2-4 weeks would pass with no communication and no work completed. I consulted with an attorney and drafted a cancelation letter. At that point ACS and I agreed to cancel half the project and they would complete half for the money I had already paid with a guaranteed finish date of 01/31/2019. As of this writing they are 2 weeks past the completion date with no information of when they will complete the project. I have attempted to contact the owners and have not received a direct response, but the new project manager tells me the materials are ordered but has no idea when they will be delivered. I contacted NARI to file a complaint and discovered they are not members despite advertising to the contrary. I filed a complaint with the BBB and found their accreditation has been revoked. I have filed a complaint with Enerbank, the company that provided funding for the project and am awaiting a response. My home has been disrupted with construction for 8 months at this point with no end in sight. I will update this post when a resolution has been reached.

Completely unresponsive, kinda shady and their lairs. To long of lead time to receive the products.

Although they do excellent service, as professional in the service business, I never write bad reviews unless a company really deserves it. The 6 week project turned into a 6 month project! Owners had to pay their mortgage plus an additional place to live for 5 months over what they promised. Forman had no desire to meet deadlines, the ordering personnel ordered the wrong items over 10 times! Permits were left on desk for 3 weeks and no one noticed. The wrong plans were filed with the county delaying another month. The biggest issues was no communication. They blame all the problems on other people and never take responsibility for anything. Russ is the only person we ever spoke with out of the 15 whom answered the phone who tried to help.

Absolutely Beautiful work. Very happy with the turn out. The only thing I would ask next time was a little better communication with the project manager because it didn't seen like there was communication from the design team to him to the contactors that came out. Everything got done and is very pleased with the results. Would hire again, just request someone else to manage the project.

The stars came through at 2.5. No my overall rating was .5 stars only. Because I think price was good does not make the experience better than the half of star

I signed contract to work on Feb 28, 2018, as of now May 7, 2018, the work is only half done. They don't inform you that they won't arrive today; you'll wait all day for them unless you call. At least they answer the phone when you call to offer some kind of excuse.

I am in the middle of the process with ACS and it has been a terrible experience. I started the project and wrote my first check in June 2017. The sales, design center and construction department have no cohesion. Also phone calls are often not returned and if returned it may be days later. We hired ACS because we wanted to have our project done by thanksgiving 2017. We also didn't want delays once it started. They told us that they do not use subcontractors and so that allowed them to reduce delays waiting for each trade person. They lied. Most of the trades have been subs. They told me on Friday the reason no one has been here for 5 days is that the next trade person is waiting to finish another project. Also when the owner speaks to us he communicates as if we are an annoyance to him. He really does not appear to like to deal with customers. I wish I had had more reviews like this on your website so I could have made a more informed decision

Terrible experience with this company. The salespeople will lie to you about project options and costs. This has been several months of time wasted and thousands of dollars lost. Middle class families beware, this is a trap.

HIRE ANYONE ELSE!! THEY ARE TERRIBLE IN EVERY WAY! Every stereotype you have ever heard of a bad contracting company is these guys in a nutshell. They are slow, expensive, throw trash all over the yard, nickel and dime anything they can, steal your tools, and get indignant if you say anything. Do not expect them to work more than a day or two a week. A two week job has turned into more than four months and they are still not finished. Any excuse whatsoever to not work and these guys will take it. On top of this, they used and then stole our tools, sledgehammer, and wheelbarrow. They since returned the sledgehammer, but probably would not have had we not contacted the president directly. Hire ABSOLUTELY ANYONE ELSE!

they bid the project 15-25 k...we put down 5k...they came back with a revised bid of 50k which was totally out of our budget.... will not give us our money back. We are both retired military officers and have never dealt with such an unprofessional company.We are preparing to go to small claims court.What a waste of everyones time!

Read my experience on the Better Business Bureau site before dealing with this company...take heed, run the other way, save your time and money and go with ANY OTHER COMPANY!

I was extremely disappointed in the professionalism, communication and quality of work ACS provided. Especially considering their claim to be a full service, turn key construction company. Communication between sales, design and project management was non exisistent. Drywall that was supposed to take 3 days took 2.5 weeks, which was a huge inconvenience considering I had no kitchen or bedroom during that time. The PM was all about cutting corners, for example I had to argue with him to get new block on an exterior wall color matched to the rest of my house because he thought painting it white instead of dark grey was acceptable. (Not the only instance, but definitely the most ridiculous) Quality of work-overall acceptable but the attention to detail was lacking. Caulking around replacement windows looked like a 5 year old finger painted it. Apparently he had his worker redo it. Still looks terrible, but frankly, I'll clean it up myself opposed to having anyone from this company back on my property. because the real kicker was the complete violation of privacy. I gave them access to my home so they could come and go when I was at work, but was absolutely horrified when the project manager let himself into my home without so much as a knock after not having anyone on site for over a week. My car was in the driveway. Completely unacceptable.

Work was done on a timely basis and our crew was easy to deal with. Adjustments were made along the way to design elements and completed accordingly. Courteous and clean crews. Finish work needed to be redone in spots, which they did without issue. Very happy to recommend

We found unexpected moisture problems with this bathroom tile project and ACS was very responsive and helpful in developing a plan and cost estimates for the extra work. The end result and appearance exceeded our expectations.

We had a great experience with ACS. We had a complete remodel done of the interior of the home, and while no remodel is ever easy, the guys we worked with made it as easy as possible. They were also very patient with us since we wanted to supply a lot of our own fixtures, flooring, etc. Truly a great experience and we do recommend them - especially to anybody in the Keene's Pointe area, where we live.

Communication was horrible and scheduling was unsatisfactory. Contacted ACS prior to Christmas and job was not started until mid January and that was not what was implied upon intial meeting.

service above and beyond expectations delivered 100% of services contracted and more anticipated additional needs made the necessary changes some requiring additional money which was not excessive i plan to use them again later this month for additional work

We haven't actually started construction yet. The plans have been drawn, and should be ready to go for permitting next week. That's all I can tell. But as far as communication and this relationship I have wth Wayne Brodel at Applied Contracting, it's been excellent. I highly recommend them.
