The tech spent time with me explaining, and showing me how things work with the furnace and thermostat, so I can make small repairs the net time I have the same problem.

Project has been completed. Had some delays in completing the project -- the tech has some medical problems .. but did in fact return and complete the work.

Greg came very quickly and did in fact replace the fan motor. However the unit is still not working. When I talked with Greg several days ago (8/31), he said that he was taken ill and would get back to me .. after 2 weeks, I have called the answering service , left a message but he has not returned my call. I do believe that if the unit was working properly, I would have rated his effort much higher.

Very polite and came out the same day which was great because I had no air and it had stopped the night before. Worked quickly and explained everything to me. I would hire them again for my ac or for my heat. I found out that they did both.

My heat pump kept freezing and the ice was about 3 inches thick. I was told by another company that my heat pump was obsolete and they couldn't get the parts I needed to repair it, so I needed a new heat pump and coil. I called Applied for a second opinion and estimate for a new unit.. Derrick came out and told me he could rebuild the electric panel and that would allow me to keep the unit for awhile longer. I hired them and he came out and fixed my heat pump and I saved thousands of dollars. He and Matt were both very professional and honest, and got the job done as promised!!

They had to remove existing, non functioning duct work, and went way beyond the call of duty. When we have our existing, somewhat working, duct work done, we won't hesitate to have them return.

I am always leay hiring repair techs,, but Derrick B made me feel I was in good and honest hands. Another more well known H&A company told me my unit was shot and I needed a new one right away. I was looking at $5000+. I read the reviews and called Applied Refrigeration Technology. I'm so glad I did! Derrick fixed my unit and assured me everything was fine for many more years. I was suspicious of the other place when they told me a 4yr old part was shot & life expectancy of this part was 4-6 yrs. Online research said 16-20yrs. Thanks Derrick & Applied, I value your honesty & ethics!
