Appraise the Rockies

Never received an appraisal (I paid all up front, lesson learned here). All communication from Scott ended about a month ago (the day before the appraisal was due - I even noted he could have a couple extra days in our last conversation). Since this date we attempted to contact Scott multiple times via email/text/voice. No messages returned. Voice mail box was usually full - but not always so I believe messages were being heard, just ignored. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I have initiated a formal complaint but am willing to walk away from this if an acceptable appraisal is received within 48 hours. If in the end we do not receive the appraisal we already paid for we will have to go to court which is no fun for anyone!

We were very pleased with the report.

The lead seemed to be training a new guy. Lead was quite rude to new guy to the point that it made me uncomfortable in my own home listening to him belittle new guy.

I needed an estimate immediately because of a death. He called and came out that day and within a week I had a very complete 10 + page appraisal.

Needed the appraisal on short notice. was contacted a couple of times to coordinate. Delivered appraisal on time!

Scott was very professional and I am sure very experienced. I did not know that a residential appraiser was different than a commercial appraiser. Homework was not done by either of us as to the zoning of the property or as to what kind of appraiser I needed. I did have a check for a partial payment and it was cashed. I am not sure this was fair but it was the deal.

The quality of the report was great, but was not provided on date as promised.

Scott is very professional and thorough. He worked me into his very busy schedule at the last minute, and I feel the appraisal was right on target. I highly recommend him.

I hired a Appraise the Rockies to get the value of our home for a divorce. I am no longer at the home, but my soon-to-be ex was supposed to be home at the time of the appraisal. I have yet to find out from this company if the appraisal was done, but they did cash the check. The appraisal was scheduled for 7 days ago.

Worked on the appraisal of our construction project but ultimately it was over 100k too low. We had a second appraisal at the end of the project that came in over 100k higher than this one. That low appraisal cost us some serious cash in closing our construction loan.

Connie was absolutely everything one could want in an appraiser. Professional, personable, answered all my questions and concerns. She was on time and looking forward to receiving my report in a couple of days.
