"We explained to Kris that we are licensed irrigators and could replace his backflow device but not test it, that's a different license. Backflow testing is a very specialized field that requires additional training and licensing from TCEQ. The pressure regulator he mentioned is behind the backflow and also controls his house. We told him without a proper pressure regulator his system would not work and that is probably what is contributing to his pressure loss in his house also. We spent a total of 4 hours at his house, found 4 valves and a master valve. We also offered to come back free of charge once he had his regulator repaired."
