"Hello David, Thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed review of the service that we completed for you on December 13th of 2023. To be honest, this review has taken us completely by surprise. Not only was the service call paid for without complaint, but you have had almost a full year to reach out to us directly to address these concerns, and yet this review is the first time we have heard from either you or your wife. Let's take this one item at a time. 1) Outlets - We replaced 5 outlets at your dock. The existing outlets were not weather rated, so they had to be replaced with weather rated outlets to be code compliant. I'm sure we can all agree that you would want outlets at your dock to be resistant to water intrusion. 2) Cover plates - We replaced 7 slim cover plates with bubble covers. This is a requirement, since the slim covers don't provide protection to the outlet while it is in use. Please reference "NEC 406.9(B) Receptacles in Wet Locations" for code compliance on the first two items. 3) Main Panel - We have been informed by Corps engineers throughout the years that plastic panels are not up to the Corps' standards, due to the fact that they are highly susceptible to damage. Dock panels are often surrounded by trees and highly exposed, and these panels need to be capable of withstanding the impact of falling branches, among other potential hazards.
