Sherrie charges professional pay and you don't get quality work she had another guy help her with no experience and she kept leaving him she never is on time keeps calling out i am so upset with the quality of work i paid top pay i had to clean up paint on my floors also the paint was lousy i would never recommend her to anyone its a big disappointment

Fantastic job. Dilligent work...even came in to finish the job on a Sunday! On time, cleaned up, excellant work, friendly and curtious. No fuss, no muss. Will hire again when I need some more work. Sherry was terrific! THANK YOU, Sherry!

Arcadia was scheduled to come out on a Thursday afternoon. The client she had before my job ran late, later, and later until she wasn't going to make it to my place. She called, multiple times to keep me in the loop, and finally asked if they could come the next day, which was a holiday. I said yes, because we wanted to get our project done, and they were in and out in under 2 hours. There was a couple spots they missed, that we didn't see until after they left, but other than that they did a good job. No paint on the floors or ceiling (that we could see).

They did not live up to their original promise on both price and workmanship. Cut corners, did not complete job to the specifications they had promised. Very disappointed.

Sherry was very neat and clean on her project. She painted our master bedroom and the bathroom with accent walls. She was prompt in her responses in getting back to me and fast in her project. I will be using her again in the summer for other painting projects. She was very reasonable and fair in her pricing. Good job Sherry.

Arcadia Paints by Sherry and co. painted my two year old house in End of December . The last day of the job was rushed as a section of area not painted, missed painting over patches. and missed patching. There was paint on the carpet and on the bathroom door panel. I brought to her attention about an area which had paint residue and looked un-even due to patching. I was told that she would come over and re-paint it. I was given appointment twice but she never showed up. I had to re-paint the entire wall on the first floor, patch an area missed, clean carpet. I will look for a better contractor for finishing basement. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

"My comments for this customer are that he was insistant on having the job done for half price which was 1500 dollars for a 3000 dollar job, also made several trips 35 minutes from my house for color consultations, was asked to work on christmas eve and day, and as for the wall with patches, the customer put the patches over holes that he put in the finished wall moving his furniture back."

Sherry was a pleasure to work with. She was cooperative, friendly and communicated with us from the initial estimate through the end of the project. She was also willing to add extra inside painting to our home, which we didn't originally discuss. The crew was hardworking and professional. They were careful about clean up and did a great job. Pride in their work was evident, and they are just great people! I would highly recommend Arcadia Painting Plus.

They did not always show up when promised, which prolonged the job and were in a big hurry at the end and missed a lot of touch ups. Be carefull what you ask for or talk about, because everything is extra.

"As with any company, If you are asked to do extra work there is always an extra charge. No company works for free or they aren't considered a company' they are family and even then sometimes even that isn't free."

They were very good painters, not as clean as you would like, but very good and very quick. Where others said two days, they were done in a day.

"This job was a whole interior, 1 coat, that needed to be finished in one day. They were getting new carpet the next day and told me not to worry about anything on the carpet. I do as I'm told and then I receive a bad review."

Overall they did a good job. I was a little upset that they didn't clean up after themselves better. They also rushed at the end to get out the door. I would use them again; however I would be more specific with my requirements.

Refinishing our Staircase, removing wallpaper and painting a bathroom, and Gel-Staining some trim and doors was our project. There was a miscommunication on how the stairs should be done. The job took longer than we all expected. Sherry is a very nice person. She had some personal, unexpected problems to take care of after hiring her, but we were all very flexible with the time. She definitely was the least expensive.

"The miscommunication on this job was between the husband and wife, not Arcadia. One chose a color and the other one didn't like it, therefore Arcadia stained the whole staircase the second time for free, due to no fault of our own."

Acadia is overambitious and overconfident in her speed and quality ability. She juggles multiple jobs at the same time and seems to underestimate her cost/time for many of them, resulting in serious delay on my project. She hardly shows for work as promised, being late on avg for 1 hr and up to 1 day or not showing up at all. At the end, she rushed through, missing many spots, failing to put drop cloth over new appliances, marble floor, didn't clean up after the job. When they left, dust was everywhere and we still had a lot of touch up to do, paint stains to remove, and ugly wall paper residues that never got painted properly as promised

"Arcadia was in the middle of a huge job when asked to work at night on this job at our convenience. The lady wanted a lot of extra stuff done for free and told me not to worry about the mess, that she had a cleaning company coming when I was finished. It was imperative that the job was to be done quickly and she did not want me to clean. I didn't do free work, in turn I received bad reviews."

Through no fault of their own, the job cost more than originally agreed upon. The trim that was needing to be painted over was very dark and the walls required more coats of paint than originally anticipated. I am happy with the quality of Sherry's work and would use Arcadia again (and have already recommended them to several friends).
