"Unfortunately, this client has been taken advantage of by local HVAC contractors. I tried to explain our thoughts on their problem to them in various ways while onsite. but they simply were skeptical of what we were saying based on other misinformation provided to them by other contractors. We were on site for approximately 1.5 hours. Some of their duct work was replaced but other sections were not. The furnace internals were not clean nor was the plenum. I suggested sampling to identify causes of the odor that was driving them out of the home, but they refused. They had already spent tens of thousands of dollars with other contractors."
