We had an 18 year old Archadeck that needed replaced as tree roots were pushing up boards creating tripping hazards and several places where inderneath support was failing. Steve Rosenbaum did a marvelous job of arranging for the old tri level deck removed and scheduling during some very trying weather, (rain rain and more rain) unexpected necessity of under the deck drainage system, unexpeted sprinkler leaks caused by tree roots but in the end we have a beautiful 400 square foot deck.

As with the previous archadeck deck. I would expect this new deck to last 20 years but at the end of it's life we probably will replace with concrete.

We like our backyard deck but the cost is too high for such a small project.

I talked with 3 different potential contractors for a new backyard kitchen and choose Archadeck. We were looking for uniqueness with a Pergola that spanned two roofs without a post and a bar that included 8 ft for the appliances against a wall and 12 ft that extended at a 45 degree angle allowing seating on both sides of the bar. From the creativity to the process to the final product completion Archadeck was a true pleasure to work with. We love it!

Demo started on time but there was a week delay due to having to move a pool light junction box. The contractor underestimated the extent and cost of this undertaking and we had to pay an additional $1600 due to his mistake. Once that issue was resolved it was a week without any work done and the weather was beautiful; contractor offered vague and contradictory explanations as to why no work was being done. Relationships were also poor between the contractor and subcontractors: 3 or 4 workers were fired from our job and had to be replaced. The actual stonework turned out decent but the process was not pleasant.
