We actually used Bill for drywall, painting, repair and replacement of tile (from a former sandwich shop), removing a floor safe and a few other things. He was reasonable, prompt and did a great job.

I couldnâ t find the appropriate category but Bill did major remodeling in a business space. His crew did an unbelievable job in repairing and replacing tile in a former sandwich shop. It looks fantastic. He also repaired drywall then primed the walls. The job was done quickly, on time and reasonable,

Work was completed Nov. 2009. The Good: Very knowledgeable Went out of their way pre-sales to ensure product we chose would meet our needs Extremely nice crew Price wasn't the lowest, but also wasn't the highest The Bad: Never returned a single phone call or email after the work was awarded to them. Called with concerns about the job after the first day. I still haven't heard back from Bill. Sent a few guys who never laid tile in their life. They installed a handful of tiles upside down. How you can do this just amazes me, as top and bottom are obvious. Tile not installed in straight line. You can see the tile curve.

We didn't end up doing the job, however I felt Architectural Resources & Technologies was the most knowledgeable for this particular job and would have been my first choice. I will keep them in mind for the next project.

Mr Dolen of Architectural Resources presented a comprehensive proposal of all the work that was going to be done. The work was professionally completed and there were no suprises. Every problem that arose was addressed. This was the first home remodel project I had done that did not cause anxiety. I highly recommend Architectural Resources for any of your home remodel projects.

Here are the issues : A) Job was incomplete due to a failure on the part of the contractor. The reimbursement for the work not complete never occurred. The entire basement was to have the ceiling finished., because of inspection issues only 3/4th of the ceiling was finished. Bill stated I would be reimbursed for the incomplete work, it never happened and I brought the issue up several times. B) The job dragged on 3 months past the June 28th data stated in the contract. C) Clean-up was never completed in a appropriate and timely manner D)Value was very poor because the frustration with the workers was so great and the end job was not in anyway above the fair/norm. Response from Architectural Resources & Technologies, Inc.
"Customer never cleaned the basement prior to us starting the project. We had to move all of the belongings and then were placed in a position to having to put them back. Client had issues with the smoke detectors but never informed us about the problem until the after the city came to inspect and failed the detection system. Permits took 90 days to obtain job started after the due date."

We have never worked with a better contractor before. They helped us from start to finish on our kitchen remodel. The kitchen looks as if it came out of a magazine. They are the most friendly and professional people we have ever dealt with. They made sure the job was cleaned up every night and kept in contact with us throughout the process to keep us updated on the status. It would be a mistake not to consider them for any construction needs.

The workers caused some damage to our property in the process, which was really disheartening. They did their best to correct the problems. Good finished product.
