Arctic Enterprises

Seemed friendly and good to work with. However, we received numerous phone calls from a construction supplier following the project saying they had not been paid by Arctic. We had to send the supplier a copy of the checks we paid Arctic with. They redid the front steps but failed to make sure the door in the basement directly below was closed so basement was full of concrete dust. They recommended we spray down the concrete with sprinkler when it was finished to help it cool down and dry. This made the sealant splotchy and splatter onto the door and siding of the house which cannot be cleaned.

Arctic Enterprises (Gary + Gregg VanGuilder) gave us the lowest quote of 3 quotes for a concrete patio in June, 09. However, what was put in our yard wasn't what we ordered. It is a patio, but it is above the ground 13 in; not level. When the job was done, we had Gregg come out and look at it and he gave us his word he would do whatever it took to make the job right. We never heard from him again; We later found out Arctic Enterprises was not licensed or insured. These men disappeared. But we now are dealing with MN Concrete who is trying to get $ owed to them by Arctic Ent. for the concrete slab laying in our yard. Watch out for this

Arctic did a great job on our new patio. They are very conscientious about the quality of their work and of the customer service that they provide. Very resonsive and easy to work with throughout the process.

Took initiative in helping me plan my project beyond my original expectations. Friendly crew. Full of good advice. I'm very happy with the results of regrading my yard and preparing it for a patio and new lawn.

We have spoke a few times, while I am getting my court case taken care of to complete my new driveway. I will be hiring Arctic to do the job. Greg and his crew are some of the greatest people you may ever meet. I hope to get my project done soon, but Arctic is definately going to do my job. The man does know his mud... lol

They were very easy to work with, very approachable, and returned phone calls quickly. Their work was exceptional! As a female homeowner, I felt they were truthful and fair. They listened to my ideas and were reasonably priced. Definitely plan to use their services again with other landscaping projects!

I can't thank Greg and his crew from Artic Enterprises for the great work on my concrete project.I was updated on when my project would be done and it was completed in a timely manner. Gregg and his crew were very professional and accomodating to my requests. The grading that they did to alleviate a water flow problem worked exactly as predicted. I have already recommended them to other friends. It is hard to find contractors you can trust, and who do a great job. I would definitely use them again!

They were very prompt and easy to contact when I had questions or concerns. The work was excellent.

We had Gregg & Matt do our project in June of 2008 and they did a great job. However, we had several of the plants that did not survive the winter. I have contacted them 3 times this spring and got one response a month ago. We finially went out and bought some plants on our own. Very disappointing as they offered a one year warranty on all the plants. Something to think about when doing your project.

The final patio and walkway turned out great. They ended up not being able to come out on the scheduled date due to the morning project taking longer then expected. No time was actually set and it wasn't communicated to me that they were not coming out that day until late that evening.

We received a very fair quote, and prompt service from beginning to end. Gregg and Matt were very friendly, informative, and professional. They explained in detail what the re-sodding project in our backyard would entail, and gave us a ballpark timeframe. They provided a quote immediately, and responded quickly. They completed the project within the projected timeframe, and there was absolutely no clean-up work to do on our part after they were finished. We now have a beautiful "instant" lawn where weeds and bare ground had been. They also installed edging, and it looks fantastic! We would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent work. I am very happy with his work and the price. He did a very good job. Once he started, we just kept going to get everything done.
