We hired this engineer to certify that an existing structure was structurally safe and sound, which he did with a letter and his stamp. We immediately discovered via other contractors that we needed an emergency fix to maintain safety.

Like the rest of the reviews, they make promises to do the work in a timely manor and then disappear for weeks. Endless promises then dodge your phone calls when you try and follow up. 3 months later for less than a days worth of work and still no results. Do not waste your time with this company.

These people only take your money and do not want to do the work. Because I am a lady I feel like that is why they did that. They should be aware of that.

Mr. Praful Patel received a $1800 deposit from me to design a retaining wall for construction permit 5 months ago. Showed me a preliminary drawing and never heard from him again. Now he won t answered my call/text. My next step is to complain to Maryland State Board for Professional Engineers and have my attorney take him to court.

We had some comments from the county to change the HVAC systems in order to get the permit, so we hired an them to make the structural drawings as per code and submit the application to the county on our behalf. Now the county ask for some comments and reached him out but he didn't respond till now for almost a month. Tried to reach Mr. Praful several times for days and days, everyday call and never answer or call back or even respond to my text and also not responding to my email.

Do not think he knows what he is doing. do not think that he is a real Structural Engineer

Mr. Patel was very professional, polite, and courteous. He was knowledgeable in what he was looking at. Not only was his report good but he was able to give advice that extended above and beyond his report.

Mr. Patel was the only structural engineer I contacted based on other reviews seen here. He was very clear and upfront that the charge to come and do the evaluation was $300. He reassured me that my home was structural sound and that the slight bowing in the floors was normal and not out of line with expectations of the structure. I am expecting his written report within the week.

I called Mr Patel to look at a load bearing wall. I had opened up a wall between my living room and kitchen and was required a seal in order for me to get my permit. He came out looked at my wall, made alterations to my plans. He stamped my plans with his seal within two days

I only gave him .5 stars as this was the lowest rating, I would give him 0 stars if possible. Similar to other review, Praful came to my house looked around and mentioned he would need to make a drawing to give specific details. I paid him under commitment to have this schematic back to me within 2 weeks. Time passed, I called and texted many time to no response. I wasted $350 for nothing! Unless you enjoying paying someone to come and visit your house, I would not hire him, he will add no value....

Mr. Patel was prompt with responding and very professional. He explained the process and evaluated the building while I was with him, and he returned his written evaluation within several days. I would highly recommend him.

I was not pleased with the service. He reviewed the structure in my home which only took 10 minutes. He stated that he would write up his recommendations and send them to me. He asked for his money and left. I have not heard from him since that day. I haven't received any information. I have to call him to remind him to send data. I am very disappointed especially for the price he charges for his estimation work. I would never use him again or recommend his services. I am still waiting for my information.

Very easy to work with. When I called him I received immediate response. He was very professional. When ever I called him regarding any of the processes that were to take place he was very patient in providing me with information on what was to occur. I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Patel was very professional as he worked through the structural concerns relating to the removal of our kitchen wall relative to completing a complete kitchen renovation. He answered our questions that we had about this issue. I would highly recommend Arenco to individuals with similar projects and concerns.

Maryland Projects: We are at a stop(bump in the road/hold up) in our process, these persons recommended must possess the MHIC license.

Quick response, able to work with our project (we are doing the work ourselves and hiring our own contractors) and working with what we had planed and gave us good in site as to easy ways of resolving problem areas.
