At the end of the project everything looked fantastic. But the quality of work only held up for several months before it began falling apart. They tried several times to repair their work but either did not do it efficiently or caused damage to my business. I lost business for a large portion of time. I am not having to hire new contractors to come and repair their poor quality of work. They are not willing to own up to their mistakes and the owner Ricardo is quick to point blame on the workers instead of taking responsibility as a business owner and boss. I had other contractors literally write up reports pointing out the flaws in their work and they still refused to compensate me for anything I've had to pay for in repairs. I'll be spending close to $18,000 in repairs and Ricardo only has to say I don't have to pay the final $5,000 I owe his company. This is $5,000 out of the $95,000 he's already received for poor work. To say his company is a scam is still too generous. They take on work they obviously cannot handle or have enough knowledge in, but refuse to admit such. If they had just admitted they couldn't do the work properly, it would have saved me and my business time, headache and finances a small business just can't afford in their first year of existence.

Ricardo Hendi is a great architect that delivers a timely, quality product on a timeline. More importantly, for us he proved adept at navigating DCRA when we needed him most. A lot of architects can draw up plans, but to go the next step and navigate the DC bureaucracy to ensure approvals, oversee construction and bring the whole project to fruition is a gift. We are forever in his debt for helping us convert our home into a two unit, rentable property. I strongly recommend Ricardo without reservation and would work with him again should the opportunity arise.
