When we bought the house, we had a radon test done showing 1.8 pCi/L average, spiking to 3.0 pCi/L. It was below the limit, so we didn't need to address it, but I knew my family would spend a lot of time in the built out basement. Chris was the only company to come onsite to evaluate the job, clearly explained the work to be done and how it would look, and committed to a price beforehand. The work was done exactly as described, in the timeline discussed, for the price committed. He cleaned the space after the work was done. We now have an average of 0.4 pCi/L spiking to 0.9pCi/L. So great! Chris knows what he’s doing. They don’t charge until they lower the radon to a safe level. Our radon problem was a challenge but they fixed it quickly. We had to call them out to fix what another company had done. It was relief to find them. Highly recommend!

My Radon fan stopped working and I was concerned about waiting for repair. Chris talked to me over the phone to get the information on my fan and came out the same day and replaced the fan and added a manometer to my system. Lots of people do radon mitigation. Chris is legitimately excited about his work and cares deeply about providing a close to a radon free home for your family as possible. If you need radon mitigation, be patient and wait for an opening on his schedule. He's worth it.

There are so many qualified radon mitigation companies you could pick. Literally, I just picked one off of the list of qualified providers. I was lucky to have picked Chris Baker. We had a tough situation. After trying a new fan (our system was 16 years old). He came back several times after we tried different fixes. Chris decides we need a new pipe installed in the middle of our basement. IT WORKED!!! Finally the radon level was dropped 5 points registering at 3.3. He never gave up. He seemed to like the challenge of our situation. The quote only went up a couple of hundred dollars. With a more powerful fan and the newly installed piping, only a small amount added to the original amount! Now we close on the house in 2 weeks and I am here to highly recommend Chris Baker and Aristeia Radon!!
