We are in Kentucky - The main AC unit stopped working in our offices. Despite the current "heat wave", Arlinghaus disptched Pat R on the same day I called. He spent a long while up on the roof of our warehouse at well over a hundred degrees. When he came down, he worked with the thermostat for a while and the magic happened. Cool air. I would strongly recommend these guys if you are in the Tri-State area.

They did the job right and cleaned after themself

I typically do not write reviews, however this experience has been worthy of a review. Arlinghaus has been amazing. I contacted a different heating and air conditioning company that came out to check our furnace for the winter. He told us we were having carbon monoxide leak into our house as we had a crack in our heat exchanger. Needless to say, we were completely blindsided by the information. We immediately turned our furnace OFF, as cold as it is outside. We were told we needed a new furnace. I called 3 companies to get quotes on a new unit. Arlinghaus was one of them. The sales representative came yesterday to give us a quote on a new unit per my request, however he stated before we buy a new unit he recommended Arlinghaus send their service technicians here to confirm we have carbon monoxide leaking and a cracked heat exchanger. Bryan Nelson was the technician that arrived. He was professional, he was attentive, he answered all our questions. He made suggestions. He checked our furnace in front of us, showing us the numbers that would read carbon monoxide gases, and the number was 'ZERO'.....NO carbon monoxide. We did not need a new furnace. Had we not called Arlinghaus, we would be having a new furnace installed with the original company. We have been without heat the last 2 weeks and lived in a very cold house until today. We are so thankful and grateful Arlinghaus was recommended to us through Home Advisor. If any consumer is thinking about having a furnace checked for the winter, I would not hesitate to recommend them. They will be our go to heating and air conditioning company in the future, as well as my family & friends. They saved us thousands of dollars. They have integrity and are honest. Call them first. We collected 3 bids and compared to the other 2, from beginning to end, Arlinghaus was the true professional. The owner Brian (also a volunteer Firefighter) personally came to review our current system and describe what we needed. He and his team performed a detailed load calculation based on our home and then had a proposal to us within days. We had a ton of questions as this was a very large and important purchase for us and one that is meant to last for years. Brian responded to all questions quickly and in great detail giving us the confidence that they knew what they were doing. Once we confirmed that we wanted to go with them, they quickly scheduled the install, showed up on time, and stayed until the job was done to our satisfaction. Everything is working great so far and I would happily recommend Brian and his team.

Gary Lemons was the only HVAC professional out of five interviewed who performed load calculations. He was very thorough and straightforward, explaining the process during his assessment. Others tried to oversell us with inappropriately sized heating units and air conditioners. The installer reconfigured the ducts and put in a Trane furnace. He was courteous, cleaned up beautifully, and explained the system operation.
