Armando Castelo's Concrete, LLC

I had a concrete slab put in by Robert from Armando Castelos concrete. The workmanship was fine. I am not knowledgeable with concrete and there was a bit of a communication problem when I asked Robert if he can put on a sealant. I paid Robert $50 to take care of this for me. He never showed up to put on the next layer. Also Armando was upset that the sealant was put on as this apparently does not help the concretes strength when curing the first few days. Armando stated he would come and check it for us when he got back into town. We have never heard from him either. We spent $1,200 for the job. So far so good, the concrete looks fine. But I would not hire this company again.

Extened our driveway. They were on time and cleaned up after the job.

I gave them the go-ahead on a Saturday after I received approval from my HOA. They started on Monday and finished on Tuesday, pouring 350 s.f. of patio and pad for a dog run. Did a great job and left the site clean. I highly recommend them.

AC concrete ( Alfredo) was prompt, attentive and responsive. They negotiated in good faith and were competitive. They finished this project in a very effective, timely way.

I had received several quotes from other contractors to do my driveway extension. AC Concrete was the first to respond to my requests and came out the next day to discuss the project with me. I gathered two other quotes from other contractors so that I can present to my non-paying boss (i.e. wife) who was the best to go with. I had another contractor come in with a lower price, but when I contacted AC Concrete they were able to meet that lower price. We set a schedule for them to come by and start the work. They actually showed up a day early to do the job. It was a little unexpected but it worked out great. My driveway extension looks wonderful and it is steady (even when my father drove off the edge of the driveway on accident). My only complaint is that they had some trash concrete that they left in my back yard next to my trash can. I wished that they took that trash with them as we are not allowed to throw it away in our cans. I have to make special arrangements to dispose of the concrete waste. Otherwise, I will use AC Concrete again for my future projects!

Armando was courteous, right on with the estimate, polite, and on time! His crew was quiet, arriving early mornings. His directions were clear, letting me know each step along the way. His pricing was fair. As he was finishing up this job, we talked about the next job. His team was respectful of my property, and cleaned up everything before they left. He has 20 plus years of experience and it shows!
