"Comments: In regard to Angela comments. I would like to address the "Fraud," there was never fraud nor intent to fraud you or anyone else. It is true we were unable to complete Angela's job, and for that, I am truly sorry. I realize that does not change the circumstances. I also, understand the feelings you have toward us, feelings of hatred, would probably describe them. I know your devastation and if I could do anything about it I would. In 2019 I had a subcontractor, who I thought was a friend, who worked with us, he ripped Armor off $400,000.00. I had to deal with all the emotions that go along with that, as well. We tried to climb our way out of that, but then COVID happened and again set us backward. We had been struggling ever since. Then with the economy the way it is right now we just couldn't keep up. I tried lending intuitions to no avail, I used every bit of savings I had, and there was nothing else I could do. Toward the end of January I had no choice but to give up the fight. This is the very thing had been avoiding, to close Armor down. I am the sole owner of Armor, this is not on anyone but me. My employees, whom you named and called crooks, are anything but that. They tried their best to keep Amor alive by working around the clock to get jobs completed not even knowing when they were going to get paid. I am the one responsible not any of my past employees. If I could change this, I would. I know that saying I am sorry doesn't help this situation, but respectfully I owe you an apology. I apologize to you and your family for all the pain this has caused. Mickey Madewell."
"I'd like to address the above comments. There is in fact nothing wrong with the shower except that we always leave a plumbers plug in drain during all construction to keep debris from going down the pipes. Its standard practice with all our bathroom remodels to prevent mortar clogging pipes. The materials selected for the floor were a tile river rock and buy nature are supposed to be uneven. This was explained more then once, and we even went to great lengths to buff out spots for the homeowner to make the touch more smooth. Its not recommended but we did it anyways. This job was never to be permitted buy us or our team and actually was started to buy another contractor, and we stepped in thinking that the first guy had done the clients a disservice, but we are not sure of what happen with the first company and the truth of why they were asked to leave. Change orders were not paid for all new drywall in kitchen. Payments were due at contracted dates but were not issued. As an owner I try to do ALL we can to resolve a matter at all cost but in this case the clients would not allow us to finish. I came out to the property to resolve all matters as well as look at all issues they claimed and did not get anywhere with homeowner. There was no paint on the cars or any other issue except the Tile rock selected and the drain plug still in drain. Had we gotten paid from the clients All matters would have been addressed but when someone refuses to pay and refuses to allow you to finish your contracted scope its just best to walk away with your Integrity then get into an argument or legal dispute. As far as the absorb comments about drinking on the job or not wanting to be there, That is just a bad way to slander a family owned company who didn't deserve this nor would have talked about them EVER in such a way regardless of feelings toward a company."
