Boss was 1/2 hour late for estimate. Workers were 2 1/2 hours late then postponed til next day. I expressed concern so they called and came at 7:30 pm but they were in a hurry. Boss had said they would give both doors a checking over and tell me what they needed. When they arrived they immediately noticed that the plate bolts that held the opener to the door were more that finger loose with only two bolts instead of four. That was probably what caused the cable to break. They installed new springs on both sides of the broken door. When they finished I had to ask for them to write the one year guarantee on the bill. I tried the door and noticed that the loose plate moved 1/2 inch from the door. They said that would be OK. (I drilled two holes to added bolts and tightened the old ones myself the next day- it doesn't move now). They ask how old the other door was and said they noticed some strain when I opened it. But they made no inspection or suggestions. After they left and I was going over the bill, I noticed they had written "third hinge". They never mentioned that. Next day I went over the door myself and found the third hinge on the left from the bottom had an inch long crack. They never called to follow up on my satisfaction.
