Water Heater Installation and Replacement
Arneson Plumbing went above and beyond my expectations for the job. I had old pipes and leaks and needed a new water heater and they took care of it all. Les and his crew were all great. They were fast, punctual, and pleasant. The quality of the work is also impeccable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone and will call them first when I have more plumbing needs. I am a very satisfied customer with super hot water!

From start to finish they did an absolutely amazing job. I could not be happier with the whole experience from the initial phone call with the office staff to meeting their whole team that installed the new shower faucet. It works perfectly now. 5 stars just is not enough for my experience.

I had a pipe leak under my house and had to shut the water off to the whole house in the middle of the night. I searched Home Advisor for a plumber at about 6:30 am on Saturday morning. I received a call from Les at about 7:30 am. He explained that there is normally no charge for an estimate, but in my case there would be a minimum charge of $150 because they had to crawl under my house to find the problem. I gave him the go-ahead and within an hour, Kevin Cook (Les's partner) was at my house. Kevin found the leak and replaced a section of the cold water main. He did it in record time and the total for parts and labor was less than $300... ON SATURDAY, IN AN EMERGENCY, AND WITH NO EXTRA OVERTIME CHARGE!!!. It was a real pleasure dealing with Kevin. He was straight forward, very professional, respectful and most importantly... honest. NO SALES, NO HASSLES, NO EXTRA ADD-ONS, just good plumbing!!! If I need a plumber (or general contractor) in the future it will be Kevin, without hesitation. I'm only allowed to give 5 stars on Home Advisor, so here's a few more *****.

Kevin arrived as scheduled at 8AM. Showed him the plumbing issues needing fixing. He reviewed what needed to be done and estimated time and cost. Got to see camera view of my 4" sewer lines from house to the street. Completed all work, cleaned work area.

I found Arneson Plumbing and Heating because we have been searching and searching for someone to help us fix our fire meter. Our property had an old fire meter that was accessed through a vault and it was completely filled with water, and after multiple companies telling us that they are not able to fix it Les gave me a call! It was a big relief to have Les come in and help us out, he came here with his fire contractor to assist with the project and gave us an estimate on the spot! Les was very diligent and helpful with his project from making us comfortable to pulling permits and having meetings with the city to coordinate everything. It was such a long process but it was worth it and we are glad that we were able to work with Les and his company. We are so happy with the completed work and will not hesitate to recommend Les to anyone that is looking for help! Arneson plumbing and heating goes beyond just "plumbing and heating," Les and his company went above and beyond to help us with our fire meter. Kevin arrived at the designated 8:00 time and understood my problem with a leak in my basement ceiling. Looked over the situation went and got tools to remove about 6 feet of drywall ceiling and insulation with the dripping water falling on his tarps (he brought his own trash bin). Finally found the copper elbow with the pinhole leak in the tightest corner in the ceiling. With a bent piece of aluminum to protect the ABS drain and wood, he cut and brazed out the fitting (after draining) and section of pipe. He replaced the fitting and section of pipe with a slip fitting, brazing it back. He then removed additional wet drywall ceiling to eight feet length. He also offered to put in a ball valve cutoff to my water heater (the gate valve had frozen over the last 25 years)and I took him up on this, he did the installation in about 35 minutes, He then cleaned up the site, taking the drywall pieces and insulation in his tarps and then vacuumed up any remaining debris. Cost reasonable and within industry guidelines. Thanks for the great job Kevin, too bad I still need to re-drywall parts of my basement.

Everything was easy and taken care of perfectly. The price was reasonable, the plumber came who was a very personable fellow and knew exactly what to do. My problem was a main water service line in which the shut-off valve had rusted out and needed to be replaced. They also had to cap the line to my sprinkler system. Everything works fine now.

Spoke to owner and gave mentioned a savings this month. Called me back to confirm time plumber would arrive. Plumber arrived on time and even put on shoe covers. Told me the most possible reason for the clog and other possibilities too. Cleared my sink drain in 1 minute!!! Great service and value!!!

I was wrestling for almost 2 days with a clogged kitchen sink that subsequently caused my dishwasher to back up as well. In the past, I was able to clear the garbage disposal on my own...this time I needed help from the pros. I looked up Angie's list for qualified plumbers and Arneson was the first to (immediately) call me and dispatched Kevin within an hour of the call. Kevin arrived on time, gave me both a time and cost estimate, and got the job done as quoted. His work was quick and efficient; he also went the extra mile to clean up and helped me look under the dishwasher for pooled water. I appreciate the work he did and also his polite and no-fuss demeanor. I would call on Arneson again for my plumbing needs - thanks again, Kevin!!!!

I was contacted by two contractors for heating issue. When I talked to the first contractor the told me the initial visit would be $79. Arneson said there was no fee for the initial visit and estimate so I was surprised when I was charged $150 when all that was done was inspect the unit and cleaned a sensor. I will say Les was thorough in explaining the workings of my heating system but I thought the fee was excessive for the work performed.

"Very sad the service was not a 5 star service. I thought I was clear in explaining a $150.00 fee would be charged for pulling out tools, climbing in attic with improper and not to code access to service a FAU in attic Inspection. Service also included inspection of outside condenser. I hope the heater is still working after cleaning the sensor if not, as explained we have the model of unit and can order a new sensor. That charge would be a $150.00 rate for time spent working on unit. Thank you for the opportunity to respond and so sorry we could not obtain a 5 star service which is our goal and always hope to offer an honest service."

Highly recommend Kevin and Arneson, he was great. He immediately put shoe covers on without us asking. Usually we have to ask. He immediately identified the problem and offered up solutions. Came on a weekend and helped solve an issue as we had guests coming later that day. He helped me convince neighbor that their tree was causing the problem. They offered to help defray cost and cut tree down. When we refused as we appreciated them cutting tree down, they offered him a tip and he refused. He cleaned up the mess, and it was a mess into the street, during and after completing the job.

Les and his crew did an amazing job with my sewer line replacement, plus helped me gather talented contractors to remodel the bathroom that was affected by our plumbing issues. He was very thorough in explaining all of the necessary steps to ensure that our problem was solved. Always on time, returned calls promptly and was reasonably priced. Thumbs up all the way!

They arrived on time, for what I thought was just an estimate appointment, but since their schedule was not too full they offered to do all the toilet replacements that day! Everything was done quickly, they took great care with cleanliness and cleanup, and even did some touch up painting.
