Subfloor was not properly leveled. Tile is not flush even in the areas where the floor was level. The tile also isn?t aligned properly, half way through the home, the tile pattern starts to angle. They also left mortar on walls, appliances, and other areas. Debris/trash was also left behind. Wasted materials that could have been used. There is more I could list but this job took way longer than it needed to be.

First, let me start by saying I would have loved to gave this company 5 stars in every category. I hired Mr. Kevin Arocha and Steven Vaughan on 6/3/21 to complete a hower tile installation and shower door. Knowing previously the disaster another person had done and chaos I had dealt with, Mr. Kevin assured me they would correct the issue and make right. In all honesty, I felt as though they were doing an excellent job, until 1) the frameless shower door I requested was not provided to me, instead they wanted to give me a frame door in which I was refused. I gave Kevin 1/3 down payment, but he said the reason I did not initially get the frameless shower was because it would take a week to receive. I let it slide, and said I would just order the shower door I want and he agreed when I receive it, they will come back to install. Secondly, during the gap, I paid the 2/3 payment after being told by Mr. Kevin, everything was complete except the shower door. I kept my end of the deal by making payments as agreed but while waiting on my shower door to arrive, I decided to go ahead and get my bathroom painted. When the painters arrived, he noticed some small defects with the shower in which a few tiles had broken cracks and the tile was not smooth. I immediately called Mr. Arocha and he and Steven came to my home with no problem. We all talked about the defects and Mr. Kevin and Steven agreed to fix the problem but they did not come back as they agreed. I have reached out to Kevin a few times and I have yet to get my receipt for services and payment to him. I have paid him $2800 thus far, had to buy another shower door, pay more people to come out and fix what I thought he did a great job on. I hired Kevin and Steven because of they are expertise, not to be screwed over. I have been patient thinking I went about confronting him about my concerns the wrong way as I feel as if maybe if I had a one on one with his versus having my painter guy talk to him or my friend, maybe this could have been corrected. I apologize to them but Kevin and I have always had great communication up til this point. I only wanted my shower remodel done right. I have had to YouTube and regrout the shower, paid another contractor to replace the cracked tile and if you see the pictures he posted online, oh it is there. Just zoom in. I wish I could upload a video to share. I have pictures and videos of the work completed daily from them. And keep in mind, I was told this would be a 7 day project that turned into 10 plus days and I did not complain. I just despise the amount of time wasted, lack of communication, lack of my shower, spending more money then what I anticipated and now Mr. Arocha will not respond to me. However, I know you will read this review and even though I did not go into a lot of depth as I could have, just know I apologize if you may have felt embarrassed or discredited for your work because I had people in my corner asking was certain things being done that were brought to your attention. However, I do wish we could have fixed the problem and here it is months later and I am still having issues with your install. My shower door I ordered will not fit and the frame of the shower does not go straight across so I am looking at getting that fix or a custom shower door. It is been an ongoing chaos.

Never received a quote? They came out to look at the project and said I would have a quote in a few hours. Never received a quote or a return call.

Mr. Arocha was responsive, knowledgeable, and super fair in pricing. I honestly would have happily paid quite a bit more for his service as the fence he built for me and my family is beautiful! I was really worried about the timeline for getting a fence built but this company was fast and reliable! And I can tell this fence will last for decades and will keep my kiddos and pets safe!! I was amazed at the entire experience and will happily recommend this company to friends and family for years to come!! You will be in good hands if you choose to go with Arocha Fence Services!
