Basement Remodeling
Dana and his crew did an excellent job on refinishing my basement. They stuck to the budget and hauled away all the trash and cleaned up after themselves every time. I would hire Around Town Remodeling again!

Dana was upfront and honest at every turn. He got every detail he could about our wants and needs when providing the estimate, and he also made helpful suggestions that enhanced our vision. Every cost was accounted for, and everything that went over budget was by our own request. He's able to adapt to changes mid-job and easy to work with. Dana responds to your phone calls and emails asap, shows up on time every day, and focuses solely on your project. There is no jumping from job to job and leaving yours half-finished for weeks on end. ATR did great work, and they did it quickly too. Our basement looks amazing now. A room we will not only use, but probably spend a majority of our time in. We will absolutely use ATR for any and all future projects!

Phenomenal work done by Dana and Will. You can trust them in your home when your away, and are extremely professional and effecient with their work. Also have the respect of keeping your house clean. Dana finished my 600 sq ft basement and installed a wet bar and full bath and the work is absolutely awesome. DO NOT hesitate to call and get them to do your next home remodel. Looking forward to working with them again.

We shopped around quite a bit and found ATR to have the best prices but also the best attitudes about making sure we would be satisfied on our tight budget. They stuck to the budget and timeline 100%--not a single penny over that wasn't an overage we specifically requested and were fully informed about the price of. They kept a clean workspace, were very respectful and friendly, really just couldn't have been better. We are moving forward with Phase II and III on the house with them.

Dana worked on the job with one worker. He was very helpful in the planning and the execution of the project. Both he and his worker were pleasant people . He removed all mess daily and took it away to a dumpster. I would hire him again. He always came when he said he would arrive. This was a pleasant experience.

Dana did a spectacular job. Every time I go into the kitchen I say " I love this kitchen" Complete remodel from the studs. He was very easy to work with and he made the whole process very easy. 2 years later and I am still smiling about the results.

Dana is an amazing man. He is very professional and has excellent personality. The work he did was more than my expectation, so beautiful and with no defect to the finest detail. Even when I made a change of plan to the basement in the middle of the project, he happily accommodated my request and did an amazing job. I hired him first to finish a basement and a garage but at the end I ended up giving him more things to do. In addition to the basement and the garage, he worked on the stair of the deck which was almost falling, connected my fridge with a water line for the ice maker, he also got and installed one cabinet to the kitchen which I thought was missing and the cabinet was amazingly an exact match with the rest of the cabinets which were already installed. I am more than happy that I hired him. I wish his business grow even more. I wish him success!!

Wonderul, my wife and I had 3 contractors tour and provide us quotes. I had had a rough idea of what it may cost based on my builder's thoughts. I chose Dana, not just because it nailed the exact price I had in mind, but he was on time and always followed up. Dana closed the deal when I had asked to see a basement he had done, the homeowner was present and the basement was beautiful. Once Dana and I agreed to what I wanted, he was here ontime everyday, starting @ 730... and finishing around 3:00. Our basement turned out beautiful, I would recommend Dana to anyone. What sets him apart, he is honest and he treats your basement as his own.

I hired Dana over other contractors for several reasons. I liked that he does ALL the work himself and does not subcontract the work out. I also liked that when he takes on a project he stays on the job until it is 100% complete. I liked his background in drywall finishing because proper mudding and taping will make or break a quality job. I liked that he was a non-smoker. I liked the fact that he is honest and respectable and could be trusted to work in the house without anyone home. My sons felt comfortable with him in the house when my wife and I were still at work. Dana represented himself honestly and did an AWESOME job.

Dana Stalter was a pleasure to work with. We spent 3 months on evaluating the right person to do our basement. We didn't want the cheapest nor the most expensive. We were looking for someone who would be easy to work with. Dana was by far the best we could find. He is a perfect gentleman and a very good and effecient worker. He pays a lot of attention to detail. We are extremely satisfied with our experience. In fact, once our basement was complete, we even gave Dana another project since we were so happy with his work. We couldn't be happier about our experiences with Around Town Remodeling. Dana Stalter was friendly and professional. He stuck to our budget and the timeline and delivered a beautifully finished basement that we are looking forward to enjoying. The craftmanship was top-notch. The first time I spoke with Dana, I felt very comfortable with him. He is a very honest and approachable. In collaboration with me he designed and remodeled my basement. His job is extraordinary. Dana is a perfectionist, while his price range is very reasonable compare to other contractors. I have also noticed that Dana is very concerned about his consumers happiness on his job performance. He called me after all the work was done and paid for to see if everything is still okay with my basement. All I can say ,you just dont't find individuals like Dana out there. I was very lucky. We called him again this year to do a complete 4 room remodel, excellent job, floors to ceiling There are not enough stars in this rating sytem to accurately rate Around Town remodeling. Excellent workmanship,Tidy, Ahead of schedule, Very accommodating. Dana Stalter is likely to give all contractors a GOOD name! We never thought we could trust someone in our home when we weren't there, we were wrong, we just hadn't yet met Dana Stalter. We had a complete bathroom remodel down to the studs and the result is best described as impressive, elegant & deluxe all at the same time! We hope to get him to do more rooms in ours hom

He is a total professional. We've never had anything done by outsiders. We've gutted rooms, done all the work by ourselfs before. So we were concerned that no one would do as good a job as we would on our own home. Dana did the kind of job we'd do. I took pictures everynight to make a disc of his progress. The transformation was fabulous. We've given his card to a lot of friends and neighbors.

Dana installed a no-maintenance deck for us back in spring. I apologize for taking so long to rate my experience. I could not be happier with the job that Dana and his associates did. They worked diligently on our deck from start to finish. The end result was exactly what we wanted. My family looks forward to many years of enjoyment on the deck that Around Town installed for us. I'd like to add that Dana was very thorough and precise with the various costs and details that were involved in the project. I hope to use him for more projects in the future.

Around Town performed top quality work at a moderate price. We would definitely use them again. We had a full bath completely remodeled, replacing 85-yr-old pipes, floor+wall tiles and a 1950's remodeled vanity with all new, mostly historically accurate materials: shower, tub, new half wall, toilet, 2 sinks, semi-custom vanity, granite countertops+window sill, new lighting + electric, rebuilt a laundry chute preserving its character while improving its function, plus redoing two ceilings and a floor that had been damaged by the old plumbing. All work was neat, on schedule, and accommodated our changes.
