We are so happy with the stone that was installed in our home by Art Granite Guy! They first installed a new vanity countertop for us in one of our bathrooms. Will, one of the owners, helped us choose a slab. We initially went in wanting granite, but he talked us into quartz for the bathroom. I am so glad we listened to him. We were so happy with our new bathroom countertop that we went back to Will and had a kitchen bar table and cutting board custom made to match the granite in our kitchen. Will really had an eye for this! The bar table is complete with waterfall sides and is honestly my favorite piece in my whole house! The cutting board is complete with handles so it is very easy to lift and move around! I appreciated Will dealing with my indecisiveness as I couldnâ t decide between changing out all of my countertops or just having a table made to match what I have. I am thrilled with this table and very happy with my decision. Will had the exact match to our granite. People that come into our home think the bar table has been there forever as the match is that perfect to our countertops! The crew comes in and covers your floors so that no marks or scuffs are made on them. They are very neat and clean and when they leave, you would never know they were in your home except by their beautiful work! Absolutely beautiful!!! Will really wants you to be happy before and after installation. He will take care of you and answer any and all questions that you have regarding the stone that you choose. Highly recommend this stone guy!!!!

I had Art Granite fabricate and install quartz countertops for a 110 unit project and I couldnâ t be happier with the results. They kept us on schedule and their work was flawless. Highly recommend these guys.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
