Very reasonably priced, and easy to work with! I hired them to repair a 54 year old brick wall that was beginning to crumble! They completed the project in a timely manner and still provided quality work.

Last month, I had a handful of masonry work that needed to be done on a small, brick single-family house that I own in Graham, NC. Primarily, I needed to install a larger bedroom window to meet the building code, so I needed the opening cut larger and the brick sill rebuilt. I also needed the sill rebuilt on a small (one row, 12 linear feet) brick porch wall, a couple of small openings filled in where there had been various pieces of old electrical equipment that had since been removed, three foundation vents, and a brick on the front stairway replaced. I had been quoted $2,450 for the work, which I thought was quite high, so, I asked for a breakdown of product and hours. I was told that **our system of quotes for residential repairs does not itemize it**, which was a ridiculous lie. A system-generated quote is only as good as the information you feed into it (i.e., hours and product). They were able to do the work the following day, though, so, I went ahead, thinking that maybe the work would be more involved than I had originally thought, but if it did not take as long as they had put in their bid, they would be willing to negotiate. They used about $50 worth of bricks and mortar and the job took about 12 man-hours, which worked out to about $200 per labor-hour, and no, they were not willing to negotiate. Tony (the representative that I was working with) told me that he owned the company, but he told my carpenter that he worked for someone. He was not willing to give me the name of the owner. He also told me his company does not take credit cards, so I wrote him a check, although on their website (which I later discovered) it says that they do. On a positive note, the mason did beautiful, high-quality work, and the bricks and mortar matched perfectly, so I give them five-stars for workmanship. I give them one star each, however, for price gouging, lack of professionalism, and mostly, dishonesty. Despite the excellent work that the mason did, I do not recommend them and will not hire them again.

The amount of rain we got from recent storms made half of the 7 feet retaining wall around my garage to cave in. I was starting to get worried because I called a few other masons to get estimates. Half did not respond and the other two said that they could not take the job because it was too big for two guys. So I searched this company and checked their profile at homeadvisor.com. I got in touch with them, they asked me to wait 48 hour for an estimate because they had a high volume of repair requests, so I agreed to wait, I had no choice. They came as promised. In the inspection they found that the retaining wall was built without concrete footing and without cinder blocks on the inner layer of the wall. So they gave me the option of rebuilding just half of the wall but warned me that the other half could collapse soon. So the decision to rebuild the entire wall was made. With a crew of four guys, they removed the old one and rebuilt it with the proper foundation and reinforced with rebars. It took them 4 days. It was an expensive project but at least I have peace of mind that it will last another hundred years. They are definitely experienced.

I agree, these guys are very professional. Why do I say that? Well I have been looking for a company that repairs brick chimneys in the following towns: Roxboro, Raleigh, Durham and even Danville Virginia. I spoke to various guys but when I told them how High the chimney was and the pitch of the roof they just said will call you but never did. But when Home Advisor connected me to this company it was different. I got an accurate estimate within 24 hours. The chimney had missing bricks and a bunch of holes. They spent a whole day working on it using protection harnesses. Chimney looks like new, Awesome job!

I recently moved to Greensboro, read their reviews and checked their website. I needed a company to rebuild the top of my brick chimney, it wasnâ t an easy job because the steepness of the roof, but this company has the right tools and the right crew to get these type of repairs done with out a problem. I see why theyâ re top rated.

My mom hit my garage wall while trying to park her car. They pretty much rebuilt it. Excellent customer service, Five stars for the quality of the repairs.

Tony is a consummate professional. He insisted on using three people to fix a long crack in one of my brick exterior walls. He was early to each of our appointments, brought all the necessary tools and mortar (color matching included), and cleaned up afterward. I thought it was a bit expensive, but knew it had to be done right. They worked quickly, thoroughly and deliberately as a team of experts, so I am pleased so far.

My roofer recommended having the chimney inspected because it had signs of exterior deterioration, so I picked this company because the majority of them only do chimney sweeping. They inspected it, showed me pictures of the problem and gave me the quote. Very professional, excellent customer service. Give them a try!

Frankly I could not find any other company that fixes brick chimneys. there was another masonry company that came, Dimas masonry to be precise, they were giving a cheaper quote but since my roof has a sharp inclination right where the chimney is located, I asked the estimator how they were going to do the repair so he just said that they had tall ladders but I knew ladders alone would not be enough, not only that they did not have liability insurance. So when the estimator from Art Masonry came I noticed the difference because they explained the repairs needed and showed me proof that they are insured. Of course their quote was higher but it was worth it. Chimney and roof are critical to maintain the longevity of the house.

A friend recommended to call Art Masonry for an estimate to repair the front steps in my house. Their quote included all materials. Very professional crew, they got the exact same brick. Tony inspected the repair from start to finish. by the way they gave me an extra discount for paying cash. I also recommend them.

Cracked bricks and mortar decaying on our chimney made us search for a masonry company. After talking to a couple of estimators, we decided to hire this company not because they were the cheapest but because they have lots of experience repairing chimneys, we also read the reviews which Home Advisor verifies to make sure that they are legit. About the repairs they did an excellent job, they had a supervisor at all times and inspected the repairs with us. Very pleased overall.

We had such a positive experience with Tony and the staff at Art Masonry. They repaired two brick retaining walls at our home that had been damaged and they look just as they did before! They exceeded our expectations and we are very pleased!

Once the project was started they were done in a day and a half. There were very professional did a great job .

I needed fast, professional service and that is what I got from this company. They fixed a bunch of cracks, also replaced broken bricks at front steps. everything looks like nothing ever happened!. That is the reason why I gave them five stars on everything.

We live in a charming house built in 1918, issues started to arise on some areas of the exterior walls, they had a bad mortar deterioration, several bricks had decayed. the top of the chimney was also affected. I found this company on this website. They responded to my estimate request fairly quick. some of the things I noticed about them is their knowledge about everything that has to do with materials and the best way to do the repairs. The estimator was very professional and honest to explain that the type of brick in my house is no longer made but they showed me other types of brick that would go well with the existing one. in the end the repairs turned out better than expected.

I gave them 5 stars because they repaired the holes and cracks that were causing a leak at our chimney. I would not call any other company.

Before writing a review for this company I would like to warn other homeowners that there are at least two guys but they call themselves companies but they are nothing more than a handyman that advertise their service on an app that is used in communities from Greensboro to Clemmons. The problem with those guys is that they are not real masons and therefore their prices are cheap, the bottom line is that I hired one of them to fix the mortar joints at my front steps and they made a mess, they used the wrong mortar color and also spilled mortar onto the brick that once dried was impossible to remove. I tried calling them but they disappeared so I had to call Art Masonry for advised and the only solution was to replace the bricks that had mortar on them and redo all the mortar joints using the same color of the mortar. I wished I would have contacted this company from the beginning but I went with the cheapest and that was a big mistake. I hope that whoever reads this review learns from my mistake. As far as the work Art Masonry did, it was professional and properly done. Remember you always get what you paid for.

We are glad to have hired this company to fix a severe mortar deterioration in our brick walkway, the repair was nicely done, if you need brick repairs pick this company, you will not be disappointed.

Very thankful to Tony and his crew for rebuilding our front steps. They showed us samples of brick and mortar colors. Very professional. My advice to other Home Advisor users: be mindful of cheaper options , other guys offered me the same but had no reviews or proof of previous jobs.

Our house was inspected before before it was put on the market. The inspection report showed problems such as loose bricks on chimney, cracks on some exterior walls and mortar missing at front steps. They repaired everything that was highlighted on the report. The house sold soon after.

They repaired various problems around my house. My brick porch had broken bricks and mortar deterioration, railing at front steps was loose, brick columns had holes and missing bricks. They worked on the repairs for two days and left everything looking like new. I donâ t know if there is another Masonry company in Greensboro because nobody else responded to my estimate request, but Iâ m glad that Art Masonry came and was willing to do the repairs fairly soon. I would only call this company from now on.
