Charles and his assistant with Artex Masonry and Fireplace Installation rebuilt my fireplace from the inside and out. What had been unsafe to use is now rebuilt with a stone exterior and a custom made oak mantle. It is both safe and beautiful. Call Artex!!

Charles and his assitant worked diligently to complete my fireplace replacement. They went above and beyond expectations as they rebuilt my fireplace re-enforcing the frame with wood and steal to maximize the support of the weight of the stone to be installed. They listened to my requests and made changes accordingly. The finished product is beautiful and it has made all the difference in my family room.

We had a complicated project after damage to the house from foundation repair. Charles did an awesome job on the fireplace, but his value extended way beyond that rebuild. Finding Artex was the best thing that happened to us during our home repairs.

Charles did a beautiful job with the new fireplace. I would have give 5 stars except for a snafu with the audio/video cables.

We wanted to transform a wall in our living room by adding stone and a beautiful fireplace. After researching online reviews, I called Charles at Artex. From the first phone call, he walked my husband and me step by step through the process, including meeting us to select materials and showing up on time and prepared for every phase of the job. Charles and his associate Frank worked in my home for several weeks caring about every last detail of the project as if it were their own home. The results were truly beyond our expectations - we love it. I'm so grateful to Charles and Frank. I wish there were more stars to add to this review. I know Charles is very busy, but Artex is worth the wait. I've already asked him for help with an outdoor project in the Spring.

Very responsive/knowledgeable and did a good job installing a new wood burning gas insert. He was willing to center the insert as well. Charles was reliable in his follow up.

Artex completely tore down a brick chimney and all of the rotten structure and rebuilt the chimney using only the best materials, installing a quality Heatilator prefab wood burning fire place! Charles was on time and worked within the budget . We had chosen glacier white stack stone for our fireplace remodel, which proved to be challenging as most of the boxes/ stone were defective or of poor quality and had to be returned . We discovered that the majority of glacier white comes from China. This was no fault of Artex.
