Update: The owner was very quick to respond and get a new design for the shelves set up. They replaced them and they look way better than before. Still not 100% what I wanted but they look nice. My only issue is that my wall that was damaged is still kind of a mess and I’ve had to go buy my own plaster and sanding materials to fix it. Do not get built-in bookshelves from this company!! They will tell you it’s something they can do, but trust me they cannot. As nice as everyone was, it doesn’t make up for the fact that I paid $2300 for what looks like ikea bookshelves and a damaged wall. They do not look like what I was told they would look like. I also found a random hole drilled above my bookshelves that was done afterwards bc there is a little pile of sawdust on the top of them. Why? They also sent the same person to fix the mistakes they made, which was awkward and if he messed it up the first time why would I want him to come back? They did “fix” my wall and some of the gaps between the shelves and the wall, but the quick fixes just weren’t what I would expect for the price I paid. My wall should look how it did before they messed it up and it does not. I was so excited for this project and now I’m just so disappointed and at a loss of how to fix the mess they made.
