Artistic Interiors

The woman was very talented and did exactly what I wanted for the finish on the curved stairway wall. She took time to show me her prior jobs which were spectacular and offered me plenty of options. Even though the faux treatment I wanted was not as artistic as she was obviously capable of, she didn't seem to mind. She was eager to do what I wanted, which I know from prior experience with artists, is sometimes difficult because artists sometimes want more freedom to create. Her price was very fair, in fact, the job took less time than she'd estimated and she lowered the original quote. Now, that's pretty unusual!

This is a little late but Debby did a great job in my wife and I house, in fact we called her back to do another job in out master bedroom because her work was AAA+++++

Debra is scheduled to begin in 2 weeks. so far she has been great. , I just connected more with Debra Gaines.

I am very happy with the final result and the process through which we arrived at it. She was responsive to my suggestions and tried to accomodate them.

We have been very pleased with Debra's work at our house. She created a medieval themed mural for our baby room, incorporating portrait of my niece and nephew with castles, dragons, wizards, birds, and animals. She was diligent, considerate of our opinions and expectations, flexible, cheerful, and good natured person. We appreciate all her hard work, both me and my wife Pallavi have enjoyed working with her, and love the mural. Thanks

Debra was great! she had creative ideas I hadnt thought about, and my childrens rooms turned out wonderful.She was quick and had the job done in a few days & worked wellover what my budget allowed. Hope to use her in the future. Thank you.

Debbie is not only a very talented faux finisher, but she also has a terrific eye for color matching and accessorizing a room. She did a three tone faux finish in our master bedroom and provided us with much incite into furnishing and detailing. We liked her work so much that we invited her back to do our master bathroom to coordinate with the bedroom. Debbie, you�re a very conscientious and talented lady. Thank you so much for helping us make our rooms so warm and inviting.

Debbie, of Artistic Interiors, was absolutely excellent! She's nothing short of an artist. The dining room wall that we had done was exactly what we wanted. My wife and I really appreciated her friendly personality, punctualness and professionalism. We *will* be hiring her for other faux finished walls in the very near future.

My experience with Debbie was top notch. Debbie arrived with a portfolio of beautiful examples of her work and an inexhaustible well of ideas. She is VERY flexible and open to any kind of finish--as well as combining the many different techniques. She is comfortable with everything from glamour to down right rustic. Debbie was able to bring up different scenarios and "what ifs" that I hadn't thought of, and her ability to know what I was trying to get at when I couldn't get the words to make sense was amazing! Debbie really listened to my ramblings and was able to put together a solid plan from my fragmented bits of ideas. Debbie suggests color variations and works up beautiful example boards to make sure everything is really understood before she begins. Her use of color and texture are fantastic! Debbie works independently and very efficiently, & her education and professionalism are very obvious as she doesn't mind being interrupted many times to explain what she is doing and what the steps include. She handled all of this like a pro and finishes up right on or before her anticipated time line. She is willing to change her schedule to accommodate yours--multiple times and without a single complaint. I had to throw many curve balls and changes to Debbie, but she just went ahead with paintbrush and smile. Debbie's work is not only first rate, but her prices beat everyone else by a MILE. I think she should have charged me more, especially since she is willing to stop and go a new direction at any given time. I think tipping is in line when she won't raise her price. Everything is fantastically fun, the progression is amazing.

I hired Artistic Interiors to do both the color consulting as well as the actual painting. I choose her because we had spent time together discussing the project and she understood my vision and was going to be flexible if I changed my mind on any of the colors. I liked working with Debbie - she was conscientious, personable and flexible when I saw a color on the wall and knew it was not going to work. My negative comments have to do with her timeliness; we were working on a fairly tight scedule, trying to get this done prior to moving into the house and she was aware of it. Instead of the initially agreed upon 4 days the job took over 7 and to finish, she had to rely on friends and family members who did not necessarily do the same quality work. The areas painted by these other people don't have clean lines, have spots where paint is missing altogether or is barely covering the wall and the previous coat of paint is showing through. There are also, again in the areas painted not by her, a lot of drips (bathtub, sink, wood trim, floor). In conclusion I would say that for my particular project working with Debbie was good despite the obvious issues because she was so flexible with changes in the middle of the job. However, if I was looking for a timely, very clean and crisp job where flexibility was not an issue, I would not rehire her again. Although her work has been good, as a contractor she is responsible for the work done by people she brings in with her, and sadly their work was not of good quality.
