I would absolutely recommend Artistic Restoration! I asked Mr. Yancey to refinish my bedroom dressers and nightstands to coordinate with a new bed frame. The color change was a dramatic change, and took a lot of effort on Mr. Yanceyâ s part. He made every effort to get the color as close to my new color as possible, and the finishing result is great!

I chose Artistic restoration for my dining table and chairs restoration. They brought it back to life and made it look beautiful again. I asked Yancey to change the color and fix the scratches on the table top. He returned my table timely and it was perfect!!! You couldn't tell that it was ever damaged.

Quality workmanship at a fair price. When I completed the service request on Home Advisor, on Saturday, the in-home visit and quote was completed on Monday. Impressive response time. I hired Mr. Budd to touch up furniture damaged by 2 inches of Harvey flood water. He did a fantastic job and worked with me on prices so I could stay within my budget. I plan to hire him to refinish my dining table (inherited from my mom) top in the near future.

They do a great job. Yancy was informative, reliable and easy to talk to. Good bed side manor so to speak. No reservation about recommending them. Only reasons I didn't rank "5" across the board are (1) shade on finished product was darker than original and I thought there was enough original color to provide a target (but my wife really liked the darker color); and (2) one of the items was a vintage sewing machine cabinet that had sustained substantial damage during flood and had veneer peeling back. The re-finishing job looks great, but I should have had a franker discussion w Yancy about degree of veneer repair that could be done. I would have liked a little more and I'm sure any expectations could have been managed.

I hired Yancey to repair some furniture pieces that were in a flood and I gave him $700, I get a call from Yancey about a month ago and he said that he is done with the pieces and that someone stole his truck but he will get the furniture to me the following week and did not, that was the last time I talked to him

Very professional. My home flooded during Harvey. He was super busy but he was upfront about everything. The cost was reasonable. He was honest and did a very good job. He repaired and refinished My Thomasville furniture. Dining table, coffee table, buffet, armoire and bedroom side tables. I highly recommend him and I would use him again. Thanks Yancy!!!
