Keith and Ann are very dedicated to pleasing their clients. Nothing stands in their way and they maintain high standards of professionalism for every aspect of the job. Keith treated every job we had as if he was doing it in his own house. This is a great company to use if you want the job done right ... and for a very reasonable price. His ideas were great, but all I could afford was framing & duct work. To be nice, I let him come a day early, even though I wasn't going to be home. I laid out EXACTLY where I wanted the frame for the room to be, but when I came home he had moved the wall in 6" (I blame him and my husband) and neglected to install the closet frame inside the room. Additionally, he marked my carpet with black marker where I wanted the framing to be, but when he moved it in he left black marks all over my carpet, which now will not come up. I was excited about working with AW in the future, but that faded when I didn't get what I wanted or what I paid for.

Pricing was very reasonable. Keith was punctual every day and completed the work quicker then expected even though i had him install cabinets in addition to the flooring. So far we have a cracked tile and the floor in several places makes a teeth clenching grinding noise when we walk on them. Unsure of what the problem,

Keith contacted me the same day as my request and came out the next day to give me an estimate. The work was completed in one day and it exceeded my expectations. Keith was able to work around a problem with some loose instulation and build a floor in my attic and install the attic stairs. I would definitely recommend Arundel Woodworks.

I would rate higher than 5 stars if the system allowed me to ! Arundel (Keith and Ann) were professional, reasonable and very timely with my new tile backsplash (not the mention the fact that it is GORGOUES). It was a pleasure to have Arundel do the work that we requested and we will definitely be having them back to do any future tile work that we need done. They were timely and by far the most reasonably priced out of all of the contractors that responded to our request. On top of that, the work was done on time, within budget and he did a great job! Remodeled two bathrooms to include tile work (floors, walls around tub and shower). Good price. Excellent work with attention to details. Contractor took pride in his work and seen to it that the job was done right. Completed additional work requested in a timely manner. Keith went out of his way to get quality items for the shower; he did tailored design work that was outstanding; he recommended designs and approaches that turned out to be breath takingly beautiful. He works very hard, gets it done in short order and is flexible about making changes mid-stream. And he's reasonably priced.

They called me within an hour of my posting my request. I was thinking a wooden ramp but their idea of raising the walk to the same height as the patio was better. Pricing was reasonable. They did a great job blending the new walk into the old walk and patio. The walk and patio look like one unit and not a wheelchair access to the back of the house. They resolved problems from other contractors and didn�t try to make more work for themselves. They are very professional and easy to work with. After the job was complete they followed up to be sure everything was correct. I will definitely have them back for other projects in my home.

Once I registered with Service Magic, I received a call and they came over the same today. I was given an estimate and we set up date for the work to be done.

In fairness, Keith is a very creative worker--he had some great ideas and suggestions for our fence (pictured here), and made our backyard looked great. However on the business side, particularly the way they handled post-clean up and other work-related details is lacking: shabby construction on one side of the fence (nails totally missing the wood beam), scraps, junk and other materials strewed all over, missing stone replacement, and an old iron fence that took nearly 2 months to completely take out! They would not return my call or emails until ServiceMagic contacted them. Completely check their work before handing final payment.

Good price and fair quality of finish.

I had hired Arundel as the carpenter for the job in Alexandria for the sub floor from your referral. He was so timely and skilled on that job that I asked him to come over to quote on the tile job. He was the ultimate professional, and the work was superb. I had him do marble in the foyer, which was the big job and tile a small area of the basement along with paint a bedroom. he shared some fantastic ideas for the design, which was a big help. He showed up at the time he said he would, and he did not leave until the job was fully complete. I would highly recommend his services to anyone. I just referred him to our next door neighbor.
