Asbestos EPA

Absolutely dismal experience. Paid $15k out of pocket for asbestos abatement for a layer of roofing. No PPE, open face dumpsters, left debris in our attic and gutters. Nails left on the ground caused two flat tires on our cars. They also wanted to put the new roof on as part of an insurance job. The roof was subcontracted out and took 3 weeks to install laughably cheap asphalt shingles. It was so improperly installed Asbestos EPA attempted to fix the issue by giving us a metal roof as compensation - but even that was improperly installed with several shortcuts, and we still have leaks with TWO brand new layers of roofing. As first time homeowners we find this behavior absolutely appalling, and we feel as though our patience has been grossly taken advantage of. I'll likely copy and paste this to the BBB.

The crew that came to my home were wonderful.

They were able to remove the sub ceiling for us even though it came back negative for asbestos but it was really helpful considering it was all done the same week and got us ahead on the kitchen.

I scheduled a estimate appointment online. I received a phone call and an email confirming my appointment never asking me to call them back and confirm, so I waited all day for them to show up, and they never showed for the estimate. They contacted me the day after they were supposed to show up and asked if I still needed the service when I replied yes they made it gave me an estimate over the phone which I found odd. We set an appointment to have the work done and got financing in place for the work to be done. They showed up and wore no respirators and no suits, they also went to my second job (Home Depot) and purchased the products needed to do the job. They also proceeded to laugh at my boyfriend because they said he could have done the job himself. It cost $2,000 for two hours worth of work (if you want to call it that, considering they had to leave to get supplies) I received no bill only a statement from the finance company a month later. They emailed me an asbestos certificate and never followed up about any work. It was a very expensive and disappointing experience. We just wanted the house safe from asbestos and thought we were doing the right thing. We felt a little violated

They did what they said. Removed everything and cleaned up after they were done. Excellent job.

The main office billing calk will come from New Jersey even though located in Michigan.

Bit high on price but they worked with me and went lower. All the workers were nice and kept me informed on how far they were. But I did find some subfloor damages that was questionable. But due to my location far up north all and all good company to work with.

Al being the actual person doing the job was great. Home office people were marginal..
