Ascend Design Build did a great job. They were professional and honest.

This project involved opening up the kitchen, living, and dining rooms into a larger open plan space, and a full remodel of two bathrooms, including expanding the master bathroom. Since the house is from the 1950s, there were inevitably some other maintenance items added during the course of the project, including a chimney repair. Majid was quick to perform a walkthrough of the existing house, provide design recommendations to help accomplish the project goal, and provide an estimate for the work. The permitting process went by without any hassles and the project was able to start on schedule. Majid was great to work with throughout the project, and was quick to address any unforeseen conditions or material procurement issues so that we could maintain control of the project costs and schedule. In the end, my family was incredibly pleased with the results and loves running around in our new space.

Majid and his team did a superior job on our sunroom addition. From start to finish, Majid delivered on our vision. His team showed up promptly every morning and worked very hard throughout the day. Majid personally checked on their progress at least once and sometimes twice a day. He always answered our emails and texts promptly. When problems arose, as they do with any renovation, he worked with us to rectify the problem. In the end we couldnà ¢à  à  t be any happier with the finished product; we just love it. We wholeheartedly recommend Ascend!

Majid quickly responded to my job request for a screened porch and was very professional from our first meeting. He provided quotes for two different project scopes we were considering to help us decide. He quickly mobilized a team and began work after we signed the paperwork. Majid provided us with daily updates as his team worked on the project. The team worked through inclement weather at times and did a fantastic job on our porch. The entire project was completed within the time frame originally quoted without any surprises or cost overruns. We would highly recommend Ascend.

They did a nice job on our hardy plank siding. Good communication. Kept things pretty clean. Would recommend to a neighbor.

Ascend are consulate pros. Majid did an excellent job of setting expectations, and of communicating with us throughout the process. We live across the continent from where the project was happening, but I never felt like I wondered where the project stood. We got regular (usually daily) updates with photos and video, and clear progress reports on each milestone. They were on top of everything that they could control to get our project done well and quickly.

Ascend construction is the pinnacle of professionalism. I had a total home remodel that needed to be completed while I was unable to be in the state. The owner was an excellent communicator with pictures and emails at the end of every day. When ever we hit a road block the owner presented the problem, then presented me with fixes for every problem. He is very knowledgeable in his craft when it comes to code and craftsmanship, his subs are highly skilled and clean. I highly recommend Ascend, they will shoot you straight, not sugar coat it, get the job done, and done correctly. I only had a few minor call backs, to which they quickly handled. I also had very little change orders for a project this size due to the attention to detail before the job began. I was alerted to where I would have issues and how I could remedy said issues. I love my new home and my family will enjoy it for years to come! 10/10 would recommend Ascend Construction to anyone else!

Ascend is by far the best construction company that I have used over more than 50 years of home building and reconstruction. When my roof, deck and several rooms were severely damaged by a falling tree. Majid was flexible and creative in working with us to design the renovation projects and wonderful on follow through in managing his excellent construction crews. Their work was meticulous and our home is now better than it was before. I was most impressed that Majid responded creatively to our new ideas for modifications as the project proceeded and still managed to finish everything on time and on cost. I give his Ascend Construction Company my highest recommendations. He and his crews are the best that I have ever encountered.l

This project of replacing a 43 year old pre-treated wood deck had its ups and downs, but Ascend worked with me through the sequence of challenges, beyond our control. First, after removing the decking, we discovered that the substructure of pilings, and support beams were rotting. Secondly, once the deck support was removed, we discovered old termite damage that needed trench termite treatment. Third, then we discovered a raccoon entrance to my crawlspace. And the fourth problem was the relocation of a dry vent that ran under the old decking, which was in violation of county code. So, fortunately for Termite insurance, we had the whole north side of house treated. And then a trapper was hired to trap, remove the raccoons, and then seal their entrance. Ascend worked patiently with all this interim scheduling of termite treatment and trapping and dry vent removal. However, one more major disruption was when Ascend discovered that the county could not find a land/house survey that was updated since the house was built in the 1960's. So, I had to hire a survey company to resurvey my house and property lines. After all this disruption to the deck schedule, Ascend was finally able to build a gorgeous trapezoidal pebble grey Trex deck, with all new ground-contact treated support beams, new pilings, and metal horizontal rail, painted to match the pebble grey of the decking. They also permanently sealed the raccoon entrance to the crawl space, and refloored my outdoor deck closet. Ascend was very responsive to text messages. The deck looks great. I am pleased.

Our experience with Ascend was all smooth sailing from the process of hammering out a scope of work to getting the estimate finalized, to designing what we were looking for. The build out of our three new bathrooms, walk-in closet, redesign of the kitchen, garden landscaping and new drainage, and various other simultaneous projects went without a hitch. Majid always kept us in the loop about what they had done, what they were doing and what they were going to do at very point of the process. The new portico Ascend designed and built at the front entrance looks so great it feels like it has always been there. We recommend Ascend without any hesitation. The final product was so fantastic that our house sold in less than 48 hours after being on the market recently.

Majid is an excellent project manager. Ascend has an excellent crews, they finished the job on schedule and I love my new garage. They communicated every step of the way about the schedule, the material choices and any budget changes. They are so good, I am planning on hiring them to finish my basement. These are guys are really the best.

Quality work. Great communication and they always showed up on time___Follow-up:I originally gave this company a 5 star rating based on their work and timeliness. Unfortunately when there was an issue they have ignored my phone calls and made promises that they have not lived up to. The project was originally done in April and now it is the end of July. I am baffled that the owner hounded me for a review when they initially finished but now has decided to ignore my request for a fix that even the owner of this business had noticed was a problem. My patience is running thin. I find it hard to believe that they will not have the courtesy to return phone calls, text messages or emails.
