In October of 2017 I paid Jesse to do a driveway in my home in Arlington Illinois. He came out gave a price and it seems reasonable and he did the job. I paid promptly and was satisfied for about 3 months. Through the winter a problem developed. Right in front of my home entry the pavement settled completely across the drive. It is 6-9 inches deep and about 2 feet wide. I Called Jesse and he promised me that as soon as the weather broke he would be there to repair it. I called every month all summer of 2018. He sent a guy out to look and took photos. I heard from Jesse that it would be done before winter. Well, guess what it has never been done. I call and leave messages routinely and he never calls back. I have threatened to sue him and that got a call this summer and a promise to repair the damage. It is now the end of October 2020 and he has still not been back. I am going to sue him for the cost of the repairs. This guy seems like a goos guy and promises a guarantee and he promised to seal it the following year, he promised to repair the damage and nothing has happened that he promised. I would not recommend him to do any work. he talks a good game, but is never willing or able to deliver what he promises. His work was poorly done and the customer service is non-existent. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We hired J Allison to do our driveway in the summer of 2017. They came and did the work, said the work was guaranteed for 1 year. During this install, they damaged our gutters in front of the garage and it took over a year and a half to be paid for that damage. Getting back to the asphalt driveway, it began to crack and break up in areas 9 months after install. We contacted J Allison numerous times. Jesse and Shannon promised to repair it. It is now 3 years later. I have about a dozen promises from them, saying that they would come and repair their shoddy work. They lie and tell you they will take care of it, but nothing is done in the end.

As previously stated in the above review, Shannon came right out to review the job and did exactly what we discussed needed to be done. The crew was knowledgeable about Asphalt repair and sealing and did a very neat and complete job. I would recommend TCB Asphalt Sealcoating & Patching to anyone in need of this service.
