Asset Appliance

My experience is in line with the majority of other reviewers. Contracted an LG fridge repair through LG and they contracted with Asset Appliance (AA). I wasted a month of my life dealing with them and the refrigerator compartment of the fridge is still not cooling properly, despite four visits and I don?t know how many phone calls. Each of the four visits required a 4 hour window (half a darn day) and each time I was promised the tech would call with an ETA and he didn?t call at all on the first 3 visits, leaving me in limbo for half a day each time. All in all a very frustrating, colossal waste of time and money. Very much not recommended.

Technician did not screw my dishwasher back into the mounting bracket properly when he pulled it out to inspect the drain. That caused a crack in the top of my dishwasher. Notified technician and, subsequently, the company of the damage. Nothing was done to repair it.

I have an LG fridge that needed repair. I contacted LG, and they contract with Asset Appliance. When the brusque technician looked at the fridge he determined it needed a new compressor. The part came in, and he installed it. Well, in the process he broke the fridge. It is now not cooling at all. I lost hundreds of dollars in food while I was at work, and the response I got from Asset was "get a new work order from LG." This was the day after they broke my fridge. Their excuse was that the work order was completed. Well, I do not recall asking them to break my fridge as part of the repair, but apparently that is normal for these folks. Without question this is the worst appliance repair firm I have ever dealt with. They take no responsibility for shoddy work, break working appliances, and then tell the customer to get a new work order. Despicable. Horrible company, and they couldn't care less about their work or customer satisfaction. STAY AWAY!!

These yahoos are the ONLY authorized LG repair shop in Utah. That is a bad on LG. LG scheduled them to come take care of pre-approved warranty work on our refrigerator, but they did not bother to bring the part that needed to be replaced. Then the next day they go and cancel our return service call with no word as to why, forcing us to restart the whole process with LG. Would LOVE to not deal with these guys again, unfortunately... only authorized repair facility in Utah. And by repair facility they apparently work out of their house, since that's what is at the business address they provide. BTW, look at those nice, short, five star reviews, all posted within a few days of each other. Bogus. Do not deal with these guys if you can avoid it.

Aidar came by on Monday to try to fix our ice maker. The tubing was too short, and he informed me it was glued to the foam inside the door so he'd have to take the door off and fix it in the shop for a certain (very reasonable) price. He took the door on Thursday night, taped over the freezer so nothing spoiled and was back Friday morning and fixed it. He even informed me he upgraded the foam in the door to higher efficiency stuff. Cannot recommend him enough! I will be contacting them any time I need any appliance help, no question.

He was very professional and very nice. Took care of the problem quickly.

He was here within a couple of hours and fixed my dishwasher very quickly.
