"Kasey, while it is unfortunate that you've had a stressful and frustrating experience, we worked to provide you with all the preconstruction services outlined in our signed contract. Taking compassion on you for your previously frustrating and stressful experience with your first contractor, who you said refunded your remaining contract and walked away from the opportunity, we wanted to provide you with the excellence with which we work. It seems that we each failed to have an initial meeting of the minds, as we suggested you start your design process fresh with our preferred architect. However, you chose an online plan that required piecing together a lot of parts. We worked with you on truss design, structural engineering, and civil engineering, as well as with zoning. We spoke to the City of Orlando on your behalf to work out the setbacks. Without a full set of drawings, we are not able to provide a budget or schedule. Given that we chose not to move forward with the process together, we understand that we've not completed our obligation to our preconstruction contract. We've completed 3 of the 7 items. While we did over 40% of the contracted work, we offered you a 70% refund. We will not issue a full refund for you to remove your review, as you offered. We feel confident in our work and understand that we cannot hit it out of the park with every client, no matter how hard we strive. It's fortunate for us both that we were able to learn this before we moved to the next stage. We're grateful to have had the opportunity and we honor the value of our team's work. We look forward to this resolution, as we're happy to honor our offered refund and wish you the best on your project."
