Reviews
Write a ReviewAlex and his team are incredible. Hardworking, efficient, and fairly priced. They’re my go-to for any tile work.
Alex and his team are fantasticâ friendly, thorough, professional, efficient, and most importantlyâ great at laying tile. Our tiles were cut with precision and laid flawlessly. I was impressed with the skill and care taken through the process and we ended up with a beautiful floor. I feel lucky to have them on our project and wholeheartedly recommend their services. Thank you!
Thanks

Thanks for your business
very professional and helpful with solving problems with the stairs we didn't think about before he started. Floor looks amazing would definetly recommend to anyone looking for a professional!
I will preface this review by stating that I truly believe that it is easier to find a vegetarian crocodile than an honest, talented, conscientious tile installer in South Florida. Alex Canedo, the owner of At Your Service Floors, came to my home to quote me a price to install my porcelain tile floor. He presented himself as being the tile guy in South Florida flooring. He seemed professional, knowledgeable and said he could get to my job right away. Music to my ears. His quote was almost to the penny what the two other tile installers I was considering charged. And after a misstep, I hired Alex. On day one, I received a call from Alex that he could not get through my gate in my development because security insisted on seeing a drivers license for entry - and neither Alex nor anyone in his crew had a drivers license. How they were driving was beyond me - but that set the stage for everything that was to come. There are several nuances to this story, but since HA reviews only allow for so many characters - I will keep this quick and precise. I like to begin with a positive. Alexs crew did not do a horrible job laying the tile - at least not at first. For the most part, there is not a ton of lippage and the tiles are straight and relatively level. His men showed up every day at 8:30 am and worked hard to finish my floor as quickly as they could. For the most part, they were pretty nice guys of which one or two even spoke English and they seemed to know what they were doing. At the end of the day, when the floor was completed, I would grade them a C+ Where they failed miserably was in other aspects of this project. Alex walked around on day one saying that he was going to cover my sliding glass windows and my cabinets and other things to keep them from getting thin set on everything. He never did any of that and thus I spent days wiping chunks of thin set off my walls and windows and cabinets. Why did I do that? Because they would not. Every day, they left without cleaning up. They left my house and garage and driveway in dreadful condition. Razor blades all over my floor and driveway. Thin-set chunks stuck to my garage floor, empty water bottles all over my house, garage, and exterior of my house, and a layer of dust everywhere covering everything in my garage including my motorcycle and my scuba gear. Of course, Alex was not here most of the time but when I brought his attention to the mess his people made - he could not have cared less. He neither apologized nor asked his people to clean it up. That was my job. When Alex did show up, he had a terrible attitude. Did not say hello - just walked around with a chip on his shoulder. One of the installed tiles was cracked and Alex refused to have it removed - just saying that the grout would make it disappear. It did not! On the last day of installation, Alexs crew was tiling a hallway and the powder room as well as grouting the entire floor. One of his installers broke an already installed tile - so they removed it and installed another in its place. Rather than wait for the new tile to set overnight, they removed the leveling clips and now that tile has quite a bit of lippage. When I pointed it out to Alex, he could not have cared less and ignored me - like he was angry at me for pointing it out. He then sent his baseboard people to finish the project. That was a joke. It looks like a four-year-old did it. As the job was wrapping up, Alex wanted his money and I did not want to have anything more to do with him. I paid him to get him out of my house. As I was writing the check and asked him again for the balance, he told me and then dared to ask me for a tip! I almost fell off my stool. The day after he left, I sent him a text asking him for a copy of my warranty. He refused to provide it. Do not trust him.
To begin with, you lied about almost everything you wrote. My men and I did not have any peace while we were working at your house. You did not leave us alone for a minute so that we could do our work in the best possible way. About the garage, you were the one who opened the garage door and left it open all the time, I never asked you to leave it open. Another thing is you bought a ceramic that already came from the damaged factory, and you put us to this separating, which is not our job. About the blades and because we were cleaning the cement that is between the ceramics, and even before you finish you finished you went out to pick them up.
Alex and his crew were great. Installed 2400 sq ft laminate flooring.Very professional showed up on time i would highly recommend them.
Totally professional on time always communicated alex was awesome
Alex was AMAZING. We needed a shower floor float and tile entire bathroom for 10ft king shower. He used large format 24x48 tiles and the tiles look seamless. Could not have hired a better contractor and recommend to anyone.
