I hired Furtado's to extend the existing gas piping to install a new stove. The service technician was prompt for both the initial estimate and performing the work. He completed the installation quickly. He was polite, professional and personable.

They called quickly to determine the problem and they set the appointment for the same day. The problem was quickly diagnosed, and instead of charging us for unneeded parts, they took care of the problem with a simple cleaning of some sensors and adjusting the thermocouple. They then took the time to explain the best way to keep the furnace running and to prevent further service calls. That is what customer service is all about.

Communication both via phone and email were great, including updates with their arrival timing. The individuals who came were able to diagnose the issue via phone, but confirmed it in person and quickly resolved our issue. Very helpful in answering my questions while they were here as well.

On a saturday they where able to go back get the same hot water heater we have and install it and have it up and running by 6pm that day. very happy with the service and will continue to use them. Its nice to have hot water

Sewer Main - Clear
would not give me a quote on the job to be performed. I can see why! They charged way to much! The two gentleman that came left me a big mess to clean up! Sewerage to be exact. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!

"This customer was highly satisfied when we left there the day that we performed a main line stoppage. It took 3 bailings instead of only 1 but we charged the customer for only 1 bailing and not 3. Sometimes even when you bend over backwards and discount your service the customer still feels that they have been wronged. This customer wanted emergency service and a stoppage cleared and they got that and then some. I am wondering why this customer never ever indicated any problem to either Don or Mike? Go Figure??? Can't please everyone obviously!!! Thanks KAF"

Furtado's did a very nice job. They were on time for both the estimate and the job. Their estimate was the mid-priced estimate of the three that I got before the job. I would have hired the pro who had the lowest estimate because he has done work for me before and I like his work. He was not available within my time frame. I would not hesitate to have Furtados do work for me again. I do feel that their price was a little on the high side.

They called me and made an appointment to come the same day I found them on Servicemagic. They were on time and were able to come on Saturday to do the project. Professional & very nice people. They completed the job and did additional work we asked them to do. Price was reasonable. Cleaned up everything when done.
