Very likeable, personable guy. Very concerned with providing quality work.

This painter came pretty quickly to give an estimate. He gave me a date and time and didn't show up. A couple of days later he called me and apologized and had a legitimate reason. So we rescheduled. He had another crisis but finally came and did the work. He was very messy and didn't clean up well and my wife spent several hours cleaning. I left a message that part of the work needed redone because of lines that were not fixed in one area. He called several days later with another crisis. We all have things that happen but I took a day off to accommodate his coming and he didn't call or show. When he did call I said never mind and I hired another painter to fix the work. I had asked for an estimate on some other work that I never received either. Poor service, poor quality of work. Wouldn't recommend.

Atchley Painting can do satisfactory work, however, due to their lack of organization my job is running on with no clear idea of when it may or may not get finished. The owner said he would call me today, Friday, to set finish date (delayed because of sickness in the family). But so far this hasn't happened. I would like for Atchley to finish the work without seeming to be so rushed to be in two or three places at the same time. However, if you hire him, be aware that he is very disorganized and may not finish when he says he will. Though, once he gets down to it, his work is satisfactory but may be overpriced for all the uncertainties he burdens this customer with.

We paid him almost $12,000 . He started out good, but then got lazy. Would promise to show up, even saying he was on his way always some excuse. over 2 months & NEVER finished the job. Now I am having to pay someone else to come & finish the work. I am having to hire a attorney to sue him & am filing a complaint with the State of TN. I feel he is just a RIPOFF & should be avoided. People like him should not even be allowed on this site.

Skip did a great job for a great price. He is also a very friendly, down home guy.

Skip and Charlie helped me move the little things and they moved the large pieces. After moving the large pieces back, they offered to come back on Mon. and help with the small things. I thought that was very kind and unheard of. They did not use bad language and were careful of my belongings.

Skip is a hoot! He is a down-home boy with great charisma, to know him is to love him. His suggestions for color selections was right on and his work was impeccable. All together it was a great experience!

Skip did a great job on patching the drywall on our ceiling. He was very neat and reasonably priced. I would definetely recommend him!

We had him paint our kitchen cabinets and our house. He and Kevin are doing a great job. Skipper was very helpful with exterior paint colors that I struggled with. We are very pleased and would highly recommend.

Skip was by far the best!! He took his time explaining what needed to be done,,,, he got to work immediatly...and he did not stop until the job was completed... His work was by far exceptional ...his rating should be a 10 not a 5.... The internet has him at a 4.84 false needs to be updated to a 10....if you don't hire him you get what you deserve....your not going to beat his work!!!!!!!

After searching for a painter, and reading all the reviews we decided to hire Atchley Painting. Skip and A.J. were everything I had hoped for and more. Super pleasant, thorough, neat, professional and went above and beyond - even while dealing with my super nosy dogs! I look forward to hiring them again!

Kept me up to date of the progress at all times. Ask mine ok if anything came up. Clean up at the end of each day. Very please.

Hard worker and does what he says he will do. Excellent job.

I was very happy with him. He came, was very meticulous in everything he did and I'm sure anyone would be pleased with that.

Once he started, the job went along fairly quick. A very pleasant gentleman in all aspects. I would hire him again.

Overall very happy. He might not arrive exactly on time, but I think that is because he is very busy with others jobs that end up taking a little longer than he anticipated.

*Got the job done rapidly *Knew their business *Polite and Pleasant-felt like I was treated like a respected customer *Took down the eyesore wallpaper and painted professionally--such a relief to get that issue resolved. *Took care of another project we needed done that I had not mentioned, but they were completely cooperative and happy to do.

Very small job, but work was excellent. I ave another job scheduled which will be a little more involved. Looking forward to its completion
