Not impressed this far at all, although I am hoping that will change, especially since I have committed to a purchase worth over $30,000 with these guys. Similar to another comment I saw on Google, I was told to expect 4-6 weeks from signing the contract to finalizing the installation, and we are well past that. After 3 weeks they had not even scheduled to measure the windows. When they did, they did not t have the ladder to measure the last window they needed, which delayed putting the order in by another 2 weeks because they could not get the right guy out to measure quick enough. While my sales person is typically very responsive, he is ineffective at advocating for me within their organization. I e-mailed yesterday and asked for an update since it is been 2 weeks since they measured, and he simply said - contact so-and-so because I do not have visibility into scheduling. I responded within 15 minutes saying that I don't have that persons contact info, and have yet to hear a reply back. I had previously contacted my sales person to let him know I was unhappy with the delays (about 3 weeks ago), and he said he would make things happen. Well, nothing happened. Literally no communication about how they were going to make this right, when the entire sales pitch that was made to me was you are going to be happy and we will bend over backwards to make it right for you no matter what I get that is not in the contract we agreed to, however you need to live up to your word. If there are going to be delays in scheduling, and I was informed of that, and I would have a much easier time digesting the situation. There are a few points that REALLY aggravate me about the delays: 1) It is not what I was sold on - integrity is everything in a business like this, and I feel like I just can not trust them at this point. 2) My wife is pregnant, and we are expecting our baby at the end of April, which is why we wanted to have this wrapped up BEFORE the baby was to arrive - our house needs the upgrade, and we did not want to deal with construction with having a newborn around. 3) at the current pace, my guess is either a) they will attempt to schedule right around the birth, which will be a scheduling nightmare or b) they will want to schedule right after, which could create a very disruptive environment for our newborn and we do not have anywhere else to go. I really do not want to have my newborn in the middle of a construction site. 4) I financed with them through a 3rd party that they have partnered with, and this 3rd party paid them immediately, which means that I owe interest immediately, despite not having received ANYTHING from them. It is very disturbing when I receive a letter from the financing company saying it is time for a payment when the company has yet to even schedule installation. To be fair, it is 0% and no payments required for 18 months, but the clock has already started ticking, which just does not seem fair to me that they get cash flow in advance and I'm footing the bill. To sum it all up, this feels like incredibly predatory behavior. Should there be better communication and transparency about what is going on, maybe I would not perceive it as such, but as it stands, it is lacking. A lot.
