The company completed a driveway widening job. The extra space is perfect for parking now. Good quality and the job was done in 1 day.

My family purchased a repossessed home previously owned by the owner of a concrete company. The driveway had a layer of concrete over a layer of asphalt over another layer of concrete. There were huge cracks everywhere. In addition, we had patches of dumped gravel and concrete all over our back yard. Atlanta's Best was recommended by a church friend who has used this company for numerous commercial jobs. We are so pleased with the job Chris and his crew did for us. Not only do we have a beautiful new driveway, but Chris cleaned up our yard, graded, and offered and did a number of other projects for us at no additional cost. Chris's vision of the best way to accomplish your goals comes so naturally to him that you might have to ask him for clarification more than once. But he is patient and kind and very talented. We have already recommended Atlanta's Best to a neighbor whose job should be completed next week.

Critique of Atlanta's Best Concrete On November 25th after several days, I got a written estimate for $7,000. The scope of work for this sum was: Tear out, haul away existing driveway, grade, form and re pour approx 20 x 60 and side drive approx 8 x 30 using 3000 psi concrete. Fill in sink-hole in front, build up back corner of yard to except (sic) shed. Positives Successfully removed old driveway, using the debris to fill sinkhole and build up area in backyard. Quality of cement work is excellent. A 4-inch thick slab with expansion cuts to the dimensions specified in the scope of work. Successfully moved large metal buildings over area leveled for that purpose. Negatives It took two weeks to get the job started. After removing the forms and cutting the expansion joints, the crew left. I didn't personally inspect every inch of the area which is my mistake. They left debris all over the area and failed to reconnect the downspout they removed. I asked for a sinkhole to be filled and a corner to be leveled and elevated. As part of that process they skinned off over 1/3 of an acre, 2/3's of my back yard and a significant part of the front yard. Chris, the owner, has been impossible to get to come out and finish or even look at the job. His last contact, a text, was I went above and beyond to please you with the extra grading, you need some dirt and sod. This need would not exist had the company done just what was asked. I didn't ask him to remove all the grass from my back yard hill. It will cost me both time and money to repair the damage done. Our understanding was that he would provide such fill dirt as would be necessary to accomplish the job. My front and back yard, which used to have beautiful grass now has huge areas of red clay mud, much of it on a slope that could easily have all the top soil erode away. Conclusion Chris is a charming individual who gets an idea of how to do a project and drives forward. If you hire this company, you must watch them and require them to get your approval at every step. Be on site to inspect every step. Be sure you and he has a detailed understanding of what is to be done and what is not to be done. Do not trust them to get the job done without close supervision. I will be finishing the cleanup and dressing of the site and repairing the damage done by his grading efforts. Grading efforts that I would never have approved had I understood his vision. I estimate it will cost me an additional $2,000 to $3,000 to repair the landscaping damage.
