The installers were very professional. They cleaned up everything very quickly. They answered the questions I had and were very knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get an awning installed in their home.

I contacted Atlantic Awning on 9/3 to order a custom metal standing-seam awning. I provided an AI rendering, dimensions, and an actual photo of my home?they never conducted an in-person site visit. They quoted the project on 9/8, accepted my order and 50% deposit on 9/9, and told me the awning was going into production with a 10?12 week lead time. Throughout October and November, I followed up repeatedly and was told no installation date was available. Then, on 11/21?over two months after taking my deposit?they informed me that the awning could not be installed due to ?insufficient clearance,? a determination made solely from the photo I had originally provided. This is an issue a proper site visit would have revealed before they accepted payment. They suggested a fabric awning instead, which is unsuitable for New England winters. I declined and requested a full refund. I received the refund check on 11/26. This experience was a total waste of my time.

I purchased two awning coverings for my home residence. I have had a problem with the larger one (12feet long) . The ropes have broken off on two of the five needed to operate the awning.I have reach out to Atlantic Awning both Gail and Cheryl to look for a solution to this issue and have received nothing but compliments from both of them on every possible issues except my concern .They don?t seem to care about their customers . I have had to call them they have never gotten back to me even though both have told me they would. Used this company for over 30 years and have had issues but never like this . I purchased the product around October of 2023 never would I have thought the ropes would be broken off in such a short period of time. I wouldn?t recommend using this company,I for sure will not in the future 30 years I guess they must figure the chances are I wouldn?t be around to purchase awnings again being in my middle sixties.Just an awful feeling.

They were great and came out the next day to fix a small leak between the awning and the siding

I believe they have disregarded what I informed them needed to be fixed and are now attempting to charge $850 for something for which they have no idea what is required to be fixed.

I bought an awning which adds no protection from the sun. They sold and installed an awning on my back deck that was way too small for the space that needed the shade. Absolutely do not hire

I hired them on 7/20. They were quick to cash my deposit, but they have delayed, delayed, delayed with the work. I called them 4 times but they do not call me back. I wonder if they are real.

Run to your phone, you will be very satisfied with this company. Customers always want everything done today. I want everything done right. The wait is worth it. I cannot sew, and certainly can't install the awning myself. I spent hours making calls to vendors who never returned my call. Given delays with COVID-19 product deliveries in all business sectors, I am satisfied with service.

Atlantic awning installed a retractable awning for me that I didn't even buy from them. Very professional and explained how the system worked and adjusted it for me before leaving. I would hire them again.

Buyer BEWARE!!! Please don t hire Atlantic Awning!! They will take your money and won t put it towards the production of your awning. I put a deposit down on an awning April 5th 2019 after having the owner, Cheryl Yennaco come to my home and choose the awning to be installed. I asked Cheryl how long it would take from deposit to install and she said 6 weeks. At that point I decided to hire Atlantic awning. Once 6 weeks came and went I called them to find out the status. They said that I they would be installing the following week and would call me the Friday before to schedule. Needless to say this fiasco went on every week for the remainder of the summer. The owner Cheryl lied to me on multiple occasions regarding my awning and it s current status. I finally got sick and tired of the constant run around on the whereabouts of my awning and when it would be installed. I called Atlantic awning and asked for the manufacturers number so I could inquire myself on the status and they said they don t give out that number and hung up on me. I was furious. I looked up the manufactures number myself and called. I had to leave my contact information and they said they would return my call. I wasn t confident that I would ever get a call considering everything I had already gone through. However I did, I received a call back from the president of the manufacturer. The president told me that Atlantic awning is a COD account with them. That they will not produce anything for them unless they receive the money upfront. I said I gave them my money in APRIL! She said that they never paid them to produce the awning otherwise it would be completed in 6 weeks. I was in SHOCK!!! What did Atlantic awning and the owner Cheryl Yennaco do with my deposit of $2370.50 in April??? I called Atlantic awning and told them what I had been told and they said they would pay the manufacturer right away and have them produce the awning. At that point I was done. How dare they lie to me all summer when they new very well that they would never get my awning without paying the manufacturer first. I asked to be refunded because the summer was over and quite frankly I didn t want to do business they a company that lacked integrity and ethics. At this point Cheryl Yennaco wouldn t agree to my refund until I said I was going to file a police report. At that point Cheryl Yennaco Agreed to refund me by check only (not the credit card I originally used for the deposit). At that point I said I wanted a certified check that day for my deposit. Cheryl Yennaco (a business owner) said she didn t know what a certified check was. I said go to the bank. To make a long story short I did get my money back, but if I didn t call the manufacturer or be recommended to file a police report I probably would still be going through this. I wouldn t have an awning and still be getting a run around from this company. I m not sure why they re allowed to continue being in business while deliberately taking money from customers and lying to them for months. Please take my advice from this review if you are currently in the same situation I was in and get your money back!!

Do not ever, ever consider this company. Placed my awning order on June 11th and was told 6 to 8 weeks. Nobody ever contacted us to tell us it was going to be later than this. We called them, and they said there was a delay, still no date in sight. After 12 weeks we started calling and email and no responses. Still, have yet to hear from Cheryl, who is the owner. Sent multiple emails and called several times. I even sent an email that said unhappy customer in the reference line and no response. After no response I called my credit card company and disputed the charges that were put on my credit card for half of my awning. Guess what, still no response from the owners. Terrible!
