About us

Our Mission: As the owner of Atlantic Chimney, Inc., I have one goal in mind, "to make certain that each of our customers' chimneys properly vents the products of combustion from appliances inside the home to the outside atmosphere". This goal is accomplished by offering three steps: Inspection: Looking for any visual defects. (Video inspections are available). Sweeping: Cleaning debris from a flue that could cause a chimney fire, or obstruct the flue gases from exiting. Problem Solving: We offer a solution for any problems that are found. All of our work is in compliance with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 211 standards for chimneys, fireplaces, vents, and solid fuel burning appliances. Atlantic Chimney was wonderful and responded quickly, came out and met us at the scheduled time and was extremely professional. We received several prices and this was by far, the highest so we did not choose them. The experience on the phone with service magic, however, was not good at all. The person answering the phone was not very knowledgable and I actually googled Atlantic Chimney and found them faster than the Service Magic operator who was forwarding my call. I would not use Service Magic again.

Time will tell how good of a job was done, but they offered a fast response time and a thorough estimate with pictures. Price was reasonable, but slightly higher than others.
