2021 Update: This company is excellent. I had used them previously and been very pleased with the expert testing and advice I received on a mold issue that required replacement of a portion of the rear wall of my house. But this past week, Patrick from ACIS came back to advise on a different problem. He realized that the contractor who did major work at the back of the house a number of years ago had left several areas uncaulked. And he got it taken care of. The experience made me realize that it makes sense to have all major work inspected prior to finalizing. And Atlantic Coast Inspection Services is the group I plan on using for that. Prior Review: I worked with Atlantic Coast Inspection Services about 10 years ago when I had a major mold issue at my house. I met with Patrick again this week because I thought I might have a problem, but did not. He gave me a great education on humidity control in homes, and how to avoid mold issues. ACIS is an essential part of the team I have built to care for my house. Super nice. Super educated. And super good business.

The inspector pointed out major flaws by a previous contractor's employee short cuts that could of caused a fire , not installing the dishwasher correctly, etc. great advice.

I made an appointment for the air quality in my home to be tested due to ongoing allergy symptoms. Patrick finished a previous job early, called, and was able to come out to my house early - which actually worked out better for me. He has a lot of knowledge, which became evident pretty quickly. I gave him a little background on the house and previous problems, and he recommended testing the air in the basement. He ran a test outside too, for a base line comparison. The whole appointment (which was on a Saturday) took maybe an hour, he sent the samples in to a lab, and had the results back to me the following Tuesday! He is really a nice guy, honest, didn't try to sell me anything, and charged me what he quoted me over the phone. I will definitely call him again if I need his services.

I called Patrick to help address a concern of new tenants regarding mold in the basement bathroom. Patrick was so quick to respond as well kind, helpful, efficient and professional. He explained everything to me, gave me tips on further mold prevention, event spoke to my new tenants and put them at ease. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend him and would call him again for any issues.

Very impressed with the quality of work & honesty of this company. We had many quotes from other companies wanting to demolish my house & kitchen to reach the one spot of mold that formed on our basement ceiling. Patrick came in, looked everything over more thoroughly than any other company,(high tech equipment) explained in detail what needs to be done and why, very professional, fast, followed all EPA guidelines, & they were all very pleasant! Couldn't ask for anything better. Save us a few thousand dollars!! Ordered pizza for them... But I think next time a lobster dinner is in order. If you're thinking of hiring a company to inspect, remove mold or any other service they provide, I highly recommend them.

Patrick called within minutes after I registered on the Home Advisor site and he came to our home the very next day. He found the source of the problem in our attic and fixed it on the spot. After agonizing over the possible scope of this problem and how much it might set us back, we were so relieved to learn from Patrick that it was a minor issue (caused by poor construction on the part of the original builder 21 years ago). Patrick not only found the problem but he also fixed it for us in less than an hour. We highly recommend Patrick and Atlantic Coast Inspection Services. Outstanding customer service.

They called 6 hrs after I registered on your site and arrived the same day to assess the issues with mold in the house. Patrick was very patient and knowledgeable about mold and weaknesses in the home. I was expecting to pay thousands of $ since the last mold remediation company had us pay thsoundsa of $ to remediate. The last co. Has no customer service to speak of and prey on your fears. Patrick was very reassuring and we will only pay a couple of hundreds to do a thou rough cleaning of our hvac system

Personal service, explained his approach, left the house clean, offered to leave the plastic sheets up for the contractor to reduce drywall dust during the contractor's construction. Finished earlier than he said he would. I recommend them without hesitation.
