"Atlantic County Handyman operates under active New Jersey HIC License #13VH12421200 with total regulatory compliance . The concrete foundation for this structure officially passed its municipal building code inspection on August 14, 2026 (Hamilton Township Permit #20260439) . The dispute arose subsequently when the property owner demanded a custom vaulted ceiling configuration that was completely omitted from her original permit blueprints . Her own engineering firm (Czar Engineering, L.L.C.) issued a structural detail requiring 18 horizontal collar ties to safely complete the vaulted load path . Under New Jersey Home Improvement Law (N.J.A.C. 13:45A-16.2), any alteration to a structural plan strictly requires a written, signed Change Order before work can legally begin . Because the owner explicitly refused in writing to sign or fund the legally mandated Change Order for the extra framing materials, we legally terminated our services for cause due to this material contract breach and voluntarily waived the remaining completion balance to leave the owner whole . We wish her the best with the remainder of her build."
"Thank you Joan for the business."
