Don did a simply superb job building my 50x50 aircraft hangar. Communication was top notch, work quality was flawless, and I genuinely enjoyed working with him. This was a large and expensive project, I called many builders and got over a dozen quotes. Don was not the cheapest, but he was the one who gave me the most confidence that he could do the project and would treat it as his own, which he did. At no time did I worry even a little bit about attention to detail or misunderstanding. The project was delivered on time, on budget. Working with Don ranks among the best construction experiences of my life!

They came over after hours and charyus the regular fee. He did a great job fixing our garage door.

All calls and emails are answered quickly. Complete discussion on scope of project, steps, cost, and time involved. Dealt with Don the owner throughout the project. This could not have gone smoother. Everything was done when I was told it would be. No ambiguities at all with this service. Cost was as originally quoted. No oops moments. They did good work. made some good suggestions to improve incorporation of new driveway with existing cool deck. Communication and timing also good.

<p>Everything went just as promised. Don was very professional and kept me informed of progress. Estimated cost was in line with two others I received. I chose Atlantic Custom Garages because of the many great reviews on this site and Home Advisor, the professional quote package I received, my comfort level with Don, and finally cost. 1 month from contract signing to new driveway installed, which was what was discussed during initial visit. (another vendor stated 5-8 weeks).  Stephan, the sub contractor who actually did the forming and pour was very experienced, We discussed some of the details I wanted and he suggested options, and changes that enhanced the final layout. Don called Friday, said they would be out next Wednesday to begin work. They ere there early Wednesday morning to Demo and form,  Inspection on Thursday, and poured Friday morning. Don Schaefer is quite easy to work with and, as others have stated, very responsive and professional. He is very prompt in answering calls and maintaining contact throughout the project and made decisions based on the best final outcome, not on what would be most expeditious. Pricing was quite reasonable and job was done as quickly as weather would allow. Highly recommend.

I always check with Angie's List first and I did get bids from two companies listed. There were few reviews on Atlantic Custom Garages on Angie's List. In contrast, there were many very positive reviews on this company on the HomeAdvisor Pro website. After getting bids from all three companies, I chose to work with Don Shaefer of Atlantic Custom Garages. His bid was not the lowest, however I was very impressed with Don's presentation. He is a gentleman with a trustworthy character. He was highly conscientious throughout the entire process including getting approval from my homeowner's association, getting the appropirate permit, and supervising the removal of an overgrown tree. The two men who actually did the work were excellent. I am delighted with the results and would highly recommend Don's company. I am happy to join the ranks of his clients who have given him rave reviews. <br />

The cost was much better than any other estimate I got. The guy was professional and answered all my questions. Install was prompt and well done. Only complaint was that they hauled away the sod and I had to go buy sod to finish the edges around the driveway myself.

The Atlantic representative was very accomadating and we were pleased with the service received. However, the quality of work performed by his jobber and the inability to correct the issues left us with imperfections that we will have to live with.

This experience was one of the best I�ve had in years. Don Schaefer is a true professional, he and his company are at the top of my referral list for this type of work.

I contacted Atlantic Custom Garages to remove an existing driveway and install a new one. Having worked with many contractors in the past, I was elated with the service and workmanship I recieved from Don. This holds especially true since I was 1500 miles away and did not have the opportunity to meet person to person.All correspondance was done via internet and telephone. Don&apos;s outstanding integrity managed the entire project from beginning to completion (including building permits). Upon my arrival at Christmas the job was completed to absolute perfection! The job site was clean and the quality of workmanship exceeded my expections.

They are a very well operated company. They start when they say and finish on time. Clean up behide themselves.
