Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
Atlantis-1 Roofing repaired a newly installed roof that was leaking. The original roofers had butted the flat edge of a hip roof against an adjacent wall. This created a level place whereby water would sit and seep into the house. Atlantis diagnosed the problem and corrected it by slightly elevating the hip in the center allowing water to drain off. This procedure is called a "cricket." The workers were reliable and efficient. They sent photos of their work as they went along. This repair was done in April 26, 2017 and has survived the following hurricanes.

The first time they went out they did not even repair the area they were hired to fix. It took two more months to get it done. It was well done in the end.

Communication was lacking a bit. To be fair, it was right after Hurricane Irma, so Im sure they were busy. They did fix my roof within four days, which was a very pleasant surprise.

Previous roofer repaired roof with different colored shingles because he said mine were obsolete. This contractor came in and replaced the ridge vent and installed flashing to divert rain water. He found the correct shingles and fixed the other guys (Total Home Roofing) screw up.

Americo quickly set up the inspection appointment within minutes of my making the request. The inspector showed up exactly on time. When the repairs were scheduled, the crew arrived promptly, worked effeciently, and completed the job in record time. They cleaned up all the debris. Americo then came out to inspect the work and make sure that I was satisfied. Very reputable company. Will recommend them to everyone

Dennis came out to check our roof after serious wind problems. He inspected the roof. He reported that shingles were fine and ridge vents were ok for now, but would need replacement after year or two. He would check again at a later date. He was prompt and professional.
