Atlas Plastering and Construction

Horrible customer service and sloppy work. Owner does not return phone calls or text messages. I am 2 months in to a two-week repair job and have been at a standstill for 2 weeks. They are supposed to be repairing and re-stuccoing the entire backside of my two story house. They have damaged windows and window screens. One of the damaged windows is exposed and even though they knew it was going to rain on Saturday they never showed up to cover the window and protect my house to prevent rain from coming inside. They didn't answer their phone or return text messages, again, so I now have additional water damage. This is not a company you want to hire.

Starting with the initial experience of having Vlad come onsite. He presented well, professional. He did a walk around of the property and returned a quote promptly. we received 3 different quotes and was the best for the price. Prep work started quickly after we signed our contract and they got to work. The house was prepped quickly, however there was quite a few nails left behind. I have dogs so i had to ensure that there was nothing for them to get hurt on. This was my biggest (and really only) complaint. We also contracted Vlad to do the windows. They are superb compared to what we had. The windows took about 3 weeks to arrive after they were ordered and they installed them in about a day. There was no significant issues with the window install except for the tape used peeled some paint off the window sills. The sills were already damaged and it was not an issue as we were already going to repaint, but we let him know this as well. Again, not a big issue for us as we already planned on repainting anyway. The lathe went up without a hitch one the windows were installed It was outstanding, even the inspector commented on their work. The lathe was reinforced at the window corners, bituthene over the paper, and not a single question other than who did the work, (Inspector was being lazy it is on the permit he was signing). Regardless, great job here. A few days after the lathe went up they started the brown coat. It went up with no issues and began the curing process. It takes around 21 days to cure. We picked our color and got paint ordered. We had the eaves sprayed the same color as the house and this went perfect. Two days after the eaves were painted, Vlad's team returned with Sanded Acrylic and began the color coat. They got through the 2/3rd of the house the first day and that is when we noticed a problem. It was the wrong color. We let Vlad know and he began working on fixing the problem. It turns out that the supplier had an issue with their color mixer and it was not right. They had to wait for the machine to be fixed before they could get the color updated. It took about 2 more weeks to get that issue resolved. They came back out and filled cracks in the walls that were unfinished and reapplied the correct color to the front and side that had color. They applied the Acrylic to the back side and we could see another issue. all of the cracks that were filled on the back were visible. Vlad came back out and tried a couple of fixes that were ultimately unsuccessful so they did a second coat. This finished it up nicely. at this point everything has been completed with the exception of the final inspection, because our new Gutters have not been hung yet. All in all, there were issues but largely not a result of the work that Vlad and his team did. They handled those issues with no question and kept in contact the whole time it was happening. I would absolutely recommend Vlad for other projects, his business ethics and workmanship are above par in every way.

Vlad and his crew are wonderful. Very fast and efficient and professional. The crew was clean and respectful of our property and listened carefully when I asked for a small change. They replaced the builder grade large trim around our house with a smaller profile and sleeker design. Highly Recommend them to anyone with stucco repair.

Atlas company performed a professional service. I had a water leakage for a while on my house back wall. I also review other companies which they charge the same or more than Atlas co but not the same work. Meaning; other companies just would replace two windows and patch around the windows with stucco. Atlas co. quoted to replaced 4 windows and a back yard door for a reasonable price. I m very very happy and proud of the work was done on my house. Atlas co has very well experience crew and the work they performed is basically a work of art!!! My house back wall looks like if you are looking at a new house. I would and I will hired them again on some other projects.

I used Home Advisor to receive quotes from 5 different companies to stucco my entire house which had outdated T1-11 siding. Atlas Plastering and Construction was one of the 3 companies that called me back after I had reached out to all 5. One of the other companies recommended that I go with Atlas because I have a 2 story house. What made me ultimately choose this company to stucco my house was not only the competitive cost, but mainly because of Vlad, the owner, who is well informed with the trade and didn't give me a vibe that he was trying to make a few bucks from me. I told him what I wanted out of this project which was stucco for the entire exterior of the house with some additional trim and stone work for aesthetics. He made some suggestions that helped reduce cost. He could have just gone with my original plans but had the integrity to help save me thousands. During construction, he came to my house frequently to oversee the progress, which is very refreshing as I donâ t see many owners of construction companies do. In fact, he even noticed an imperfection in the stone work and came by one day to fix it himself. This was a big job that took a long time. They started off making good time and was ahead of schedule, but got some delays due to inaccuracies in the weather forecast. But he gave me frequent updates which gave me comfort in knowing that he was still attuned with this project. Overall, his crew did a fantastic job and the house looks great. My wife and I are very happy we did this project and the company that we chose.

Contractor arrived as promised. Out lined the work needed. And quoted me what I thought was a fair price. He completed the work as promised. Sent me pictures of his progress as work was being done. And followed up at its completion. I d recommend him to others.

A very positive experience! Vlad came out and gave me an estimate and really got the project on track quickly. He recommended a wonderful painter, William with Claw Painting and they had my exterior looking beautiful and brand new looking in a matter of less than a week. Totally impressed and would highly recommend for quality work.
