Great contractor that demonstrates a real commitment to the customer from proposal to finished work

The work crew were good. The major, serious problem was that they sourced the cement from too far away and the mix was already setting up before they had a chance to pour - but they poured anyway. Many cracks in our concrete driveway. IF the cement delivery had been better, the end result would've been much better.

We hired A to Z to install sidewalk, small patio and widen driveway., also to repair privacy fence damaged in HurricaneThey responded with a quick quote, got right to work the next day. They repaired the fence, and spent three or four days digging , frame and laying the rebar for the concrete work. Then they disappeared. It's been three weeks now, and they won't return calls or emails. Now I have to hire another contractor to finish the job, and can probably kiss the half down for the job that they have already received goodbye. They did do a decent job in the fence, though. I just wish the fence habit cost me $1700, instead of the $400 I was quoted.

I had a concrete driveway poured and they were very fast and did great work. Well beyond my expectations.

Overall very pleased with the quality of work. Crew worked hard and did a great job. I had a driveway and fence installed, but project took longer than I expected. It eventually got completed, just wish it would not have taken as long as it did. These guys do great work, just need to be patient as they have quite a bit of work lined up. Job will get completed and you should be satisfied. Thanks

Tom underestimated amount of fill he had to deal with , but he eventully made it right. Has a really good crew

We got an estimate from Tom on Monday and our concrete was poured on Friday. Great work.

Update: In December 2016, I entered into a contract with A to Z fencing and concrete to replace a drive way, front sidewalk and add a new sidewalk and patio to the back yard. When I meet with the owner of the company (Tom), he appeared to be an honest and caring person. Tom demonstrated to me he cared what his customers thought of him personally and his company's reputation/work. From day one, Tom told me if a problem occurred to contact him and he would make things right. Three months after the job was completed. The new sidewalk started lifting up and pulling away from the driveway. I took pictures and sent the information to Tom. The problem was identified and a crew was sent out to my location. While talking with the crew foreman, I was informed the sidewalk was not anchored to the driveway and this is what caused the problem. I questioned the other end of this same sidewalk that was anchored to a new back yard patio that was poured by this same company. I was ensured that side of the side walk was anchored properly. When I pointed out how the expansion joint was already pushing up out of the concrete, I was told that is normal. I was told an expansion joint is designed to move. Four months later that same side walk and back patio separated almost two inches and the sidewalk raised three inches. I took pictures and contacted Tom. Tom told me he would send out the crew to see what the problem was. The crew never arrived. I contacted Tom again who told me he was under the impression his crew came and took care of the problem. When I told Tom his crew lied to him, he told me he was sending the crew over once they finish the current job they are working on. Once again tech crew never showed up. During this time, Hurricane Harvey hit the Costal Bend causing everything to come to a stand still. I contacted Tom about a month after the hurricane to find out what the plan of action was. Tom told me we was going to make things right but he just needed some time due to his shop in Rockport, TX was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. I agreed and Tom told me he would keep in touch. Several months pasted and I never heard back from Tom. I tire to call Tom and he would not take my phone call. I sent Tom a text message and he told me his crew was pouring a concrete job (today) in the area and he would send them to my location to fix the problem. This crew never showed up. Now it has been over a year that Tom promised to fix these issues under the agreed warranty (issued caused by his crew). The last conversation I had with Tom, we discussed how I had given him ample enough time to make things right. Tom told me he was still struggling after the hurricane. Tom asked me to allow him more time and not to leave a negative commit about his company. After agreeing to give Tom more time due to the natural disaster that affected so many, it is apparent Tom is not going to do anything. Tom is now refusing to return my phone calls and will not respond to

Tom responded immediately and gave a fine estimate within one day. The crew was knowledgable, hard working, professional, highly efficient. They reconstructed our driveway and finished a concrete patio so it's ready to be turned into an enclosed room. First rate! Completely satisfied!

It took a long time to get the project started. However, once it started, it was completed quickly and professionally. They replaced a section of my driveway and put in a new sidewalk for me. I'm happy with the result.

Ray went the extra mile to contact an uncooperative commercial business at my back fence line and took down their metal fence that was leaning over my fence line. Never got a detailed contract and the charge for gates was much higher than other contractors.
