Atocha Roofing

I have 51 years of construction experience. 20 as a union carpenter, the last 11 of those as a project superintendent. The last 30 years I have been a State of California certified Inspector inspecting construction of Schools and Hospitals. I hired Atocha roofing to replace a flat roof over part of my home living area. The owner of the company came to my home and surveyed the job. The next day I received a bid which was the lowest of 4 that I received. Before they started I had a termite inspection done. That inspection revealed some damage to the eves and rafter tails of my roof. Atocha started the job on the day promised and after I saw the excellent craftmanship of the team I negotiated to add the work at the eves. I mentioned that I had some broken tiles on the rest of the roof but I have been unable to find any of the discontinued tile. Pablo started searching for some of the tiles to match and found enough to repair all of my damaged tiles. All work was done in a timely manner and with the utmost quality. Atocha roofing should be your first call when you are in need of roofing work.

WAIT! Before you go mad searching for a roofer, call Pablo at Atocha Roofing. So the story goes like this, a few years back we had tons of rain and I we ended up a with a leak on the back porch and of course I called my insurance company. Well to put it simply they did not do anything for me except send an inspector who stated that it was the skylights that was leaking. WRONG! If the person did their job he would have did a correct inspection and my problems would have been over. We waited until the weather got better and we had the skylights changed out. Guess what? It leaked again, I argued with the insurance company to send an inspector over again, and this one stated the roof was getting old. WRONG AGAIN. Okay, let me make this simple before calling your insurance company call Pablo, I so regret not getting another opinion and trusting my insurance company. The next thing is to make sure, if you have roofing issues to get it done before the WINTER comes because it will be more expensive and it will be hard to find a roofer because they are very busy because of the damage from winter weather. Well after looking at the patio in this state and my father who is 73 years old and trying to figure this out while putting his foot through the roof. It was time to find a real professional and that is what I found on the Home Advisor and Yelp. When I requested more information and put a bid request out, Pablo was one of the first to respond quickly. I was also able to land a free inspection right away unlike many of the others who were either too busy to respond or I would have to wait a few weeks and it is a race against the winter weather. Pablo came over the next day and did an inspection. Great news the main roof itself was fine however, after an in depth, inspection Pablo explained to my 73-year-old Asian Veteran father that the original build was the problem and that the insurance company inspector should have caught it. I mention my fatherâ s age because many older seniors are not at ease and he does not trust anyone easily. Pabloâ s professionalism and knowledge along with his straight forward no nonsense inspection put my father at ease and that says a lot. I asked Pablo several quick questions as well before I had to rush off to work and he answered them very quickly and to the point. There is nothing worse than a bad contractor and I have had a few of those but you wonâ t find that with Atocha Roofing. I have to state that I work crazy hours and when his team showed up on time, they were so quite I was able to sleep till I had to get up for work. The team was able to demo the patio roof, which is right next to my room, and when I went out on the porch area, it was nice and clean and there was a large dump bin as they gutted my patio roof. The other issue is that this patio roof is almost a flat roof so please keep in mind NOT a lot of companies work on these types of roof but Atocha does. Both my father and I are very pleased with the final porch roof and the price was very fair for the amount of work that needed to be done. If you need roofing repair, do it now before the winter comes and call Pablo at Atocha for an estimate before you call your insurance company, you will not be disappointed but very pleased and one less thing to worry about during the holiday season. Timely, knowledgeable, completed what I ask for

I worked directly with the proprietor for Atocha Roofing who came to my house to quote on a replacement of a flat roof rebuild and replacement / rebuild of porch roof. Also included replacing insulation. I received a quote within a day or so, and worked out a timeframe for the work to be done since it has been raining. The work was scheduled and the workers arrived on-time for the two days and completed the job by early afternoon the 2nd day. The quality of the work was exceptional. The flat roof came out perfect as did the roof overlooking the porch. As soon as the work was done, it started to rain a couple of hours later in the day. The roof passed the pouring rain test and I have no concerns that my roof will hold up for a long time. I would highly recommend Atocha Roofing as they provide great quality work at a reasonable cost and get the job done in a timely fashion.

They are super fast their quality eficient and the price is very good.

They repaired our eaves, gutter and shingles where a tree had fallen into our house. Very nice people to work with and they did a great job.

Everything was good, except for the response rate was pretty slow when the contractor is busy.
