Atrax Roof & Gutter

Roofed an old barn with steep 20/12 and 8/12 pitch. Removed old shingles and composite roofing. Repaired 1â x8â slats removing rotten sections. Installed 1/2 plywood (CDX) and synthetic builders felt under the composite shingles. Worked with me to install roof in a way that allowed me to finish up some non-roof work later without holding up the roofing installation. Cleaned everything up down to even the small scraps and completed the whole job in one day. Finished up just as it started to rain. I appreciated that all phases of the project were specified in detail up front with itemized costs for each task. Atrax handled one additional change request for a reasonable charge after the basic work had already been agreed to. Due to the location of the barn, it was not clear that the shingle delivery truck would be able to place the shingles on the roof directly. Atrax noted that there would be an extra cost if the crew had to hand carry the shingle bundles to the roof and provided a reasonable estimate should that be the case. The truck was able to maneuver close enough to get the shingles on the roof, but it was nice to know up front that there was a possibility of an additional charge and have it specified before work began. With several weeks of rain now, the roof has no leaks. A very nice job and enjoyable people to work with. I should also note that two contractors declined to even bid on the roofing job because of the difficulty involved in the steep roof pitch and non-ideal location. Atrax was not put off by the difficulty and did a great job. Be sure and give them a chance to bid on your project.
