The property manager for our 65-unit condominium association hired Attic Pros to provide extra insulation to solve a condensation problem. After three visits, one of which had to be rescheduled because they didn't arrive within the promised timeframe, the problem persists, and Jake Barrington (owner) refuses to take responsibility for what they were paid to do. He even stated "If the association or property management decide to not use our services in the future, I can accept that."

My experience with this company and George was just GREAT!!! George came out to inspect the attic within a day of our phone call to his company. He brought in his ladder and went up and inspected the attic. He explained everything in great detail about ventilation and insulation. There was no pressure-just honest information. His two-man crew came out the following week to do the work. They were polite, neat hard workers. They blew in insulation and put in a roof vent. They cleaned everything up inside and outside. I had no problems what-so-ever. I would highly recommend this company!

They told me what I needed to have the job done correctly such as add soffit vents and baffles, vent the bathroom fans out of the chimney, add the correct amount of cellulose, etc. Price was good too.

George was very nice and explained everything well. He did a good job and when he promised. The only thing I didn't like is he referred to a labratory (the same as all the others) that recommended shredded newspaper over fiberglass. It may be true, but there should have been another source.

"The brochure Ken was given and our website that he visited clearly list many independant sources for information comparing cellulose and fiberglass. The laboratory he refers to is Oak Ridge National Laboratory which is world renowned and has the worlds most comprehensive data on insulation. It's a pretty darned good source!"

George was the only contractor that actually went up in my attic and walked around and checked everything out. I received confilicting information on what should be done, baffles, no baffles, more vents, no more vents, seal up existing vents and on and on. George was the only one who made sense of the whole thing. He came and did the estimate and also did the work. Cleaned up afterwards, was on time for work and estimate. Family owned business for 20 yrs. Good work George!

Attic Pro's representatives were very punctual, very efficient, very clean, and an excellent job overall. Two key factors in selecting they beyond what I mentioned above. 1) while they were not the cheapest, they had the best wholistic approach to the attic including ventilation, and 2) they had done some work in our neighborhood previously and the neighbors I talked with were very happy with the work and value....no substitute for happy clients.

Higher priced - but very thorough and detailed in what needed to be done. Just wish that they would have warned of the mess so I could have moved more things - but instead I now have to clean all the things that were in the garage like the baby's stroller, wagon, etc. Oh well - live and learn. Despite that - I would recommend. Great workmanship.

"Our price was higher because the other contractors only quoted insulation and neglected to mention that they had zero soffit venting and no insulation baffles! We replaced the entire vinyl soffit with 100% vented and installed baffles between every truss. This actually takes far longer than the insulation, so naturally it's an additional expense. We do things the right way, not the cheap way! And the garage was cleaner when we left then it was when we arrived."
